I crave this place all the time – The Italian Sub sandwich and spinach bacon salad is my usual. But pretty much everything is really good. Not to mention the desserts! Everything is homemade which is very rare. Food for thought is a must!

OUTSTANDING! – This small yet charming establishment is wonderful. I recently had the pleasure of eating one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. In addition to sandwiches, the salads are unique and unlike any other restaurant. We live in San Diego, CA, and have access to wonderful dining establishments and have yet to find anything like this wonderful charming luncheon spot.

Their homemade organic catsup (or ketchup if you prefer) is fantastic! Our 16 month old daughter ate it like it was a "food group" off of the freshly baked bread.

Food For Thought, Draper, Utah, is worth the short drive from Salt Lake City. We ordered box lunches the next day for lunch while skiing at Alta.

I recommend that everyone try this unique spot in a tiny town in Utah. What a find!!!!!!

Not many places like this anymore – The location for this little cafe in a historic home is a bonus. It is in the historic area of Draper on the edge of a beautiful park (formerly the Pioneer Fort site) and in a quiet area. There is actually plenty of parking and the service is plenty fast. The house is recently renovated and very charming. I have eaten there about a dozen times. I have also ordered their catering and have been very pleased.

The food is great - the recipes time tested and developed with care. If you don't have a salad and dessert as part of your meal you are missing out. This is a Mom and Pop place - although Mom and Pop are still relatively young. They are the kind of people who give back to the community and the place is worth hunting out to support. It is a great atmosphere for chatty business or friend luncheons. There is a room in the back that would be fun to have for a group of 12 or so for a party.

There are other things you can do in Draper after your meal - especially on Wednesday afternoons when the two local museums are open.

Really good salads... – Quite "off the beaten path," this small cafe has set up shop in a little old Draper home. There's very little parking, particularly during the Noon-1pm hour, as they're only open for lunch. However, their hours are somewhat extended, 11am-4pm, to accommodate the early and/or late lunchers. No formal to-go menu, but my to-go order took no more than 5 minutes, and I enjoyed perusing their selection of gift items during my short wait. The small interior appears to be able to seat around 20-30 and it's clean and bright. The service was prompt and friendly. Being somewhat of a salad snob, I ordered their "Pasadena Bleu" salad, and was very pleased to see fresh ingredients, and the absence of wilty iceberg lettuce and tasteless toppings - this salad more than satisfied my selective likes. I can't wait to go back and explore their other delightful menu items! A bit pricey, but relative to what's being offered at many other places...well worth it.
