Going Downhill – Used to be a great place. Lunch the other day was terrible. Way overcooked a Kobe beef hamburger and seared ahi salad. Waiter's excuse was "well you know it's a brown beef" (burger) and "we cook it medium" (ahi). Simple lunch for 3 took almost 2 hours. Not recommended at this time.

Blind Dog patron – I eat at the Blind Dog Grill at least once a week and

find the food very consistant. The seafood is of

exceptional quality and I understand is flown in from all over the country, including Hawaii. The Sushi is some of the best in the West. If you have not eaten here yet when in Park City please give it a try. The wine list is wonderful.

A relaxed atmosphere and food that is hit and miss. – The Scene
Blind Dog promotes itself as being famous for seafood dishes such as herb-crusted Alaskan halibut and fried Washington-state oysters.

The Food
The grilled tuna chop, marinated and served with wasabi vinaigrette on top of mashed potatoes and haystack onions, was the highlight of the evening. The vinaigrette made a terrifically tart sauce to the rich tuna, and the onions evoked memories of seaside onion-ring stands. Less impressive were the butternut squash ravioli simmered in extra virgin olive oil, sage, tomato concasse, and grated Asiago. They were nice, but the serving was small, and had no "ooomph." Desserts are a highlight. The vanilla ice cream with fresh wild berries marinated in vanilla was everything you'd hope it would be. The chocolate brownie was a perfect balance of sweet and bitter, and not overly done in either size or richness.

Fantastic! – We drove up from SLC to eat at the Blind Dog for the first time, and this will definitely not be the last time. I am from Chicago and have been unimpressed with most of the restaurants I have been to since I relocated, until last night. The Blind Dog's atmosphere extremely inviting, the service was excellent (we did not feel rushed, not did we feel neglected), and the filet was unbelievable--it melted in your mouth. This is the best dining experience I have had since I moved over a year ago.

Went in for Complimentary Crab Bisque – We saw an ad in the local papaer and went in for the Crab Bisque that was complimentary for the resturants Birthday, WOW were we surprised. We had no idea how wonderful the ambiance was. This is not a grill by any means, it is fine dinning with comfort. The only way to explain it would be Cashmere and Jeans together. A great wine list, they even have a Sushi Bar. I had Seabass with some type of vegtable and a risotto cake, it was outstanding. Leave room, I had the Crab Bisque (rich and flavorful), salad(spinach with bacon, yummy), the Seabass, and bread pudding for dessert. I took home a doggie bag. Also, they have this wall of dog pictures from a bunch of people that have eaten at the resturant, they said if we sent in a picture of our pooch they would put it up, pretty cool.

A groovy surprise – I worked next door to the Blind Dog for 6 months and always thought it was a bar. Then one day I went in with me girlfriend, looking for a cheap meal and WHOA! This wasn't a cheap place. We stayed anyway and are VERY glad we did. THE BEST CRABCAKES OUTSIDE OF MARYLAND. Everything else was excellent, but that's what really stood out. There is a slightly local-centric feel, though.
