MaidPro does a great job for my mother. – I have been meaning to write a review on this company since my mom started service with them, but i have been busy. My mother is undergoing a second round of Chemo treatments for her cancer and for about the last 4 months has been part of a local Cancer foundations house cleaning helpers program which MaidPro provides. I can't tell you what a benefit the cleaners have been to my mother during this time. She is weak from the cancer treatments and it is hard for her to do simple tasks like vacuuming and mopping. These guys do a great job in alleviating some of this burden from her so she can focus on her treatments and getting better.
She is always telling me without these guys coming once a week i would be more stressed out and it really helps to brighten my day when i know the house will be taken care of.
In particular the owner Byron, does a wonderful job in interacting with me as well as my mom on the scheduled visit days and working around her chemo schedule. We have had to cancel last minute cleanings because she was too sick or had a change in appointments and he has been great to work with in understanding our situation.
The cleaners they send out are wonderful and flexible in her needs that visit.
All in all such a wonderful program, company and people to work with and i just wanted to let everyone know how much my mom appreciates the service and how it really is helping her during this tough time.
poor customer service – When I reserved an appointment for a house cleaning, the customer service women was very nice and helpful. However I was under the impression that once I gave my credit card information, my appointment was reserved, unless I called 24 hours before reserved appt time to cancel. I was not informed that I had to confirm 24 hours before scheduled time. I had reserved the appt 2 days prior for Fri Jan 13th and the women was nice enough to squeeze me in on such short notice.
I didn't realize my phone battery went dead Thurs until early Friday afternoon when I noticed a missed phone call and voice mail from maid pro's Byron Bailey. He had also sent me an email which I didn't see until that afternoon as well calling to confirm for Fri Jan 13th. I had also given maid pro a secondary number with the (518) area code, which is my husband's number, to call just in case no one got through to me. My husband said he never received any calls or messages from Maid Pro at all.
I called Byron Bailey from his Sandy office on Fri 1/13 at around 12pm to tell him that I was confused and misinformed thinking that if I gave my credit card number then my appt was already reserved. I also told him about the phone situation and how he only called the first number and he didn't try the second one, since I just realized that I was having issues with the primary number I gave him.
I was upset and trying to understand the situation, but Byron Bailey was getting upset and somewhat yelling right back at me. This further upset me more because since he is with customer service, I assumed that he is supposed to resolve any issues that customers may have. Instead, he kept on repeating company policy and "that's the way it is here." I understand Maid Pro's policy and it was not necessary to keep repeating it. I didn't feel like he was listening to me and telling me what my options are.
I am writing this, not because I want any compensation or any more service, but to say that Byron Bailey was not professional with me at all when an issue was presented; and that he left a poor reflection on your company. If he had a calm demeanor and a "willing to help" attitude, my issue could have been resolved instantly with no problem at all. I am a very understanding and nice person so I don't understand how this situation escalated as it did. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
The primary phone number the customer provided did not work for whatever reason 24 hours before hand and the morning of scheduled service. We made numerous attempts to reach her and also sent an email. We do this to prevent last minute cancelations, lockouts or maybe something in her plans changed and she needed to reschedule.
I am not sure why her non working phone is somehow our fault but i accept that and the fact that i was not fully sympathetic to her blaming us for the situation.
Very good cleaning – These guys did a great job! I just had a deep cleaning done by them and they did my new house.
Blinds, baseboards, under the beds, pretty much everything.
Oh yeah they found out my Fridge was leaking so that was nice of them to tell me that.
Price was very good and they sent a very good team.
I am going to set them up for a monthly clean to keep up with the mess. I recommend Maria's team if you call them.

Beware of fake negative reviews on MaidPro! – Hello-

I have been informed by another company up on CitySearch that they have had fake negative reviews posted on their company page and these same people have also posted on our page below. We are in the process of working with CitySearch to have these removed and filtered out.
Most likely these are competitors trying to paint a negative picture of my company with fake stories or reviews.

Could have done better myself!! – I have used other cleaning companies before and was overall completely unimpressed by the company, especially the two cleaners that came to my house. I paid them for the same amount of time I paid American Housekeeping for - 4 man hours. American Housekeeping cleaned EVERYTHING...they even had time to wipe all my air vents, clean the inside AND outside of my windows, vacuum my stairs, wipe down all my garbage cans, and other tasks I didn't ask them to do because I didn't think they would have enough time. With maidpro all they got done with 2 people in 2 hours was the kitchen and my 2.5 bathrooms - THAT'S IT. They got to nothing in the two bedrooms, no vacuuming, nothing - and my house is only 1600 sq feet! Plus, we had already moved out so they had NO furniture to work around or dust...they should've been able to clean the entire house in that time. They didn't take much time to listen to what I wanted cleaned and asked no questions. They worked slow and were always in the same room together, talking...it seemed to take 2x as long that way. One lady started packing up 10 minutes early even though there was still lots that she could have done. They did a sloppy job and I had to have them re-do nearly everything I asked them to do in the first place. They seemed annoyed that I asked them to finish their job and kept saying they were out of time...even though I was only asking them to re-do what they were supposed to have done in the first place; I never gave them more jobs to do at the end. I observed them spray a rag then use that same rag to try to clean the entire kitchen without re-wetting it. Thus, hardly anything was cleaned well. I had to continually ask them to use more spray on the item they were cleaning because nothing was coming up by them simply wiping it with a dry rag. They didn't even bring a garbage bag, so they didn't sweep anything but the kitchen. After sweeping the kitchen they handed me the pile of dirt in a ziplock bag they found in one of my drawers and said, "garbage". How are you supposed to properly mop and sweep without a garbage to throw it in? We had moved out and had no garbages of our own, you'd think a cleaning company would bring a garbage bag at least. They gave me some attitude when I asked them to remove the spots, smears, and crumbs that were still left on the countertops after they said they had cleaned them, even though I tried to be kind and patient - even though they were wasting my time. They weren't apologetic at all and made excuses for EVERYTHING I asked them to clean, "it's a stain...I wiped it already...it's from oil...". Interestingly enough, every task except for one that I asked them to re-do came out sparkling clean after I nearly forced them to use spray and actually take some time to wipe it thoroughly. I am not confrontational and was nervous to call the owner and tell him of my experience because I didn't want to make him feel bad. However, he was completely apathetic and unapologetic during our conversation and offered me no apologies or amends. Overall, I felt like I could have done the same job myself without having paid for two people from this company to come out and will never use them again.
They came thru for me. – I gotta tell ya i had a good experience with this company. I had to be out of my condo yesterday since the new renters were coming in and they were able to get me in yesterday at the last minute.
I don't normally write reviews but i called around and other companies were booked. So they guys were able to send in a team and got it done. Looks great, i appreciate the work Maria and her partner did.
They did a good job. – Not sure which one i should post under, but they did a good job on my living social voucher. They missed some blinds but are coming back in tomorrow but everything else was great. When I called the office they said the could get me another team in tomorrow so that should work out fine. I priced the competition and with the coupon it saved my about $150 so i am happy.
THE WORST CONSUMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD – If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Not only is the owner completely unprofessional and condescending on the phone, but his very nice employee who didn't speak English arrived 2 1/2 hours late and left at five ( which allowed her 11/2 hours of cleaning time.) I was charged for the full four hours of cleaning. I was never given a checklist to approve before or after her work. When I did inspect her work on my own, NOTHING WAS DONE! The bathtub had been wiped down, but not the toilet. the floor had been swept, but not mopped. The window sills were still disgusting and the carpet wasn't vacuumed, etc. The absolute kicker is, when I called to request that he reimburse my credit card, he said, " He'd think about it, but it wasn't his policy." This man is not someone I would let my worst enemy do business with. DO NOT USE THE SANDY MAID PRO.
I believe this person is confused. She contracted for a 3 hour cleaning block, not 4. We asked her if she wished to cancel and of course she did not. The employee did stay the full 3 hours for the work. In the end we ended up NOT charging her AND we sent her a $50 gift card for her "troubles". There are some people that will go to the extreme to paint a very negative picture when in fact we did alot to try and resolve the situation and make this customer happy.
