Tips for Port O' Call Social Club
Sam's the Man. I love Port- especially on Thursday's. Not too crowded, good food, there are always guys there to buy you drinks and the service is fabulous. Not to mention they have the best damn looking employee's in town. Weekends get packed too. I love that place- no matter what day of the week it is. Oh and one good thing- all the ladies out there can feel safe- the bouncers do not tolerate creaps- and will kick anyone out if needed.
Figure out what you want to be.. Sure Port O'Call always seems hip you don't necessarily know what you're in for when you show up. There may or may not be a band playing, or possibly there's a DJ playing techno, or maybe you can get a seat to eat something. It's a restaurant/bar/sports-bar/dance-club/live music venue that doesn't really know what it should be, so it's just average at everything instead. Because of this I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I have traveled to many places and yet never seem to find a place like the Port. The food is so so but the have everything you can imagine to drink and the bar service is excellent.The in crowd is always there and you can get almost any game your looking for on one of more than 50 tv's.

Awesome Soul Band!!!. Catch THE SENSATIONS SOUL BAND upstairs at Port O' Call usually on a Saturday night. They are the most unbelievable Band I've ever seen. They are the only band in this Salt Lake doing Real Soul. If you miss them, its your loss.
Great Place for a Good Time!. Without a doubt the most laid-back and enjoyable club on the weekends in all of the salt lake scene!
Darts anyone?. Port O'Call is definitely the place to be on a Friday night. We are usually there every weekend, and wether you want to get your groove on on the dance floor or just hang out and play darts, it is a great place.
PLACE TO BE!. PORT O' CALL, IS DEFINATELY ONE OF THE BEST BARS TO GO TO. IT'S A LITTLE TOO CROWDED ON THE WEEKEND, BUT OVERALL IT'S COOL. I ALWAYS GET TREATED FRIENDLY WHEN I GO THERE.
love it. If you're under 21, they are really good at noticing fake IDs. But the crowd is awsome. The bartenders are the best. You can meet really cool people here. Check it out!
Plenty for everyone!!. This place is HUGE! I counted 8 bars, 18 bartenders, 9 pool tables, 2 dance floors, 39 different draft beers, and about a zillion square feet. Most drinks came at me with speed and accuracy, though once I waited over a minute. All different kinds of people to see, some more my type than others, but with 1500 of them to choose from, meeting new people was easy. This place needs more bathrooms!!
