Great selection, Very nice service – I went here to find my prom dress, and amazingly I found it. Even through this is a small selection compared with others, I enjoyed coming. Mainly due to the extremely kind and helpful service from the girl that was working. I would come back just to get her feed back on items anytime.
unique used clothing – this store knows its customers and puts them first. they are unique in merchandise and their customer service has always been friendly and helpful.
Loyal customers crowd the store. Obviously, they're onto something unique. – The Scene
Traditional market research would probably indicate that used clothing and Indonesian woodcarvings don't go together. Visit Grunts and Postures and you'll see why this eclectic mix of merchandise seems perfectly normal. Besides, you have to love any store that carries Billy Bob teeth, coconut-shell bras and personal fans shaped like Sumo wrestlers.
New and vintage clothing; wigs and lampshades (no, these items aren't interchangeable); novelty items and Asian imports.
It's a safe bet that you won't find many Martha Stewart wannabes here.
What You'll Spend
If you absolutely need a life-size, double skeleton carving, you'll have to cough up $200. Postcards and the Billy Bob teeth are considerably less expensive.
love this place – This place is really fun to shop at because it has a really neat selection. Half the stuff I've never seen before in my life, and the prices are awesome. They have lots of great import stuff, and great clothes. I got one of my favorite summer dresses here, it was hand made in Hawaii and I absolutely love it.
So good I foiled a burglary for them! – I used to live across the street from G&P. It's been there in some of the best memories and outfits I had in high school while everything else was crap.
I witnessed an attempted burglary there and called the cops. Saved my favorite store from a rummaging.
My Grandma's Old Stuff – If you want to dress like a 1940's starlet, this is the place. The stuff is in great condition, too.
