Delicious and Unique Menu. Besides the broad selection of specialty foods at Emigration Market, what I really love is their small restaurant. The menu takes from the market's specialty foods; a broad selection of cheeses, meats and vegetables that are not commonly found in most burgers, sandwiches and pizzas eaten in the U.S., and combines them to make delicious entrees.

Politics aside, this is good food. Priced just above fast food for much higher quality combined with an option for takeout makes it an excellent option to stop in on your way to somewhere close by. Take a picnic up Emigration Canyon or Sugarhouse or Sunnyside parks.

Their pizzas are some of the most delicious I've had, and so many unique options from such a small market. The pizza is definitely worth paying a few extra bucks for to split with a couple friends.

Eat good food and be happy!

Boycott this market. JT Martin the owner of this small market is a complete waste of space and has no morals whatsoever. I think we should all boycott this place based solely on that fact. He is rude to his staff (yells at them in front of the customers, belittles them and uses them as his own personal errand runners (bring me some ice cream and soda to my house) He is a pig!!

DOWN WITH JT!!!

worst service in slc...seriously. This is quite possibly the worst breakfast experience i have had in slc. I have given this little resteraunt a few chances considering that every place has its bad days and i like to support local buisness. However on every occasions the food has been horific and ridiculously over priced and the staff is by far the lowest quality i have encountered.

My last visit was my final one. For starters there is a sign that aks customers to seat themselves but after doing so my friends and i sat and waited unattended for over twenty minutes. There was no apology from our portly waitress for this wait, only a rude toss of menus. And things were only downhill from there. Our food took forever and our drinks arrived several minutes afer our food. At this point i completely gave up on asking them to correct my order which naturally had been screwed up. I was so shocked that the waitress hadn't dropped my food on the floor that i figured i should just take what they brought me.

The most boggling thing was that the staff seemed flustered and overwhelmed by the sunday breakfast crowd...really? I would expect that like most places that serve breakfast on the weekends that the manager would be prepared for such a thing. Apparently not. Not recommended, don't waste your time or money.

Best breakfast!. There are a lot of great places to eat breakfast in Salt Lake City and Emigration Market is among them. I have had great food consistently - service is friendly and the price is right. I highly recommend it for folks who love to eat breakfast out.

Bad Politics. I will boycott this market & urge all people that voted for this flip-flopper to do the same. He made us promises during his campaign that he is now reneging on. Namely, the Sky Bridge.........what happened JT, did the Mormons pay you off? Or was it that they just wouldn't play with you? I started to get an idea (AFTER I voted for you) of who you really are when you tried to keep Blue Botique from relocating........... And now I see the REAL JT. You should be ashamed of yourself.....I am!!

Food was Okay Manager and owner are very rude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. The market is nice and the food was good, as I was eating I watched to owner get in a yelling match becuase I customer said that he was not happy with the service and he wait 40 minutes for his sandwich, it was just really un professional, and I heard the owner say that he was always right and if you have to wait u have to wait even if it is our fault., when the customer should always be right. very dissapointed.

Not the cleanest place in town. I've been to Emigration Market a few times. I went in about 6-7 years ago and it seemed dirty so it was a while before I went back in. I tried it again a few years ago and it seemed they had cleaned the clutter out of the isles. The deli had changed. It seemed that things were on the upswing and I started going as a convenience more than as a primary shopping as the selection is limited. My most recent visit was about 6 months ago as it seems to be migrating back toward the lack of sanitation and cleanliness. The signs hanging down from the deli area that on close inspection seems to be missing some of the finer points in cleaning just seemed a bit unhealthy to me. I'm sure every once in a while I'll stop back in but I'll continue to walk back out until I feel I'm safe in regards to feel that things are sanitary. I just don't get that feel right now when I see the dirt buildup in the corners, etc. I do look closer than the average customer but come on guys, keep it cleaner than what it's gotten to.

Great Little Market. Im a neighborhood resident and do most of my shopping here. Their prices are comparable to large markets, the staff is friendly, and the prepared foods are, on the whole, pretty good.
