Cheap lodgings located near the airport.. The Scene
This small, 22-room motel is located outside of the main city area on the far end of a commercial zone. It is close to the Salt Lake City airport; nearby is a Park n' Jet and a noisy overpass. The property is somewhat rundown, and includes a trailer park on the premises.

The Details
The one-story courtyard building offers simple rooms with TVs and phones. It's not the best area, and there are newer and larger hotels nearby. Still, this could be a good choice for someone on a tight budget. But don't bother staying here if you don't like kids--the trailer park houses many families, and small children are often playing all over the grounds.
