A++ – I went there for Valentine's Day and had selected it from a list of well known restaurant: La Caille, 23rd floor, ... at first after I saw the pictures on the website I was a bit unsure if I want to go there for V-day but when I went there to check it out a day before V-day and after meeting the owners, I knew it is going to be a great location. I had asked the owners to set up the table with flowers and confetti decorations which I had provided them earlier. And when we arrived at V-day, everything was set as I had asked them to. They are very hospitable, the food is great, they have good wine selections, and overall we had a great time. I will definitely go back there again, and you should to.
Confetti's: Close to my heart! – This is a hidden treasure of Holladay. I frequent Confetti's at least once a week . The personable service is exemplary! The specials such as the Rib Eye Steack with Gorgonzola cream sauce is amazing! The steak is done to perfection with just a little bit of pink and the sauce is terrificly decadent. In the summer the Caprese salad is the tops, the tomatoes come straight from their garden. Their Falafel is unbeatable and the Chicken Curry Soup is always a nice hot surprise on a cold night plus the warm bread is great for dunking! Every time I go there I feel as if I am stepping in to a close friend's home for dinner it is so welcoming. I hope this restaurant is around for a long time!
Don't listen to the Trib Reviewer on this. She's just plain mean and uncultured. – I was introduced to Confetti's about two years ago. This place is FANTASTIC! The spinich ravioli is to DIE for - the review in the Salt Lake Tribune last year was totally off the mark. It is a smaller establishment and family run. The service is fantastic and you can often order items that aren't seen on the menu (Caprise Salad). I highly recommend the place - the gnocchi is also fantastic (a hard thing to find here).
Friendly, Delicious Med Food – I read a review from Mary Malouf in the SL Tribune and had to go try this place out. Her review was absolutely ridiculous. She claims to have ties in the Middle Eastern culture but does not know anything about the food. The Tadros family are the most hospitable, just like they are taking you in their home which is typical in the middle eastern culuture. As for Mary Malouf, learn some manners and something about the middle eastern culture
Great customer service, amazing pasta – I love this place, it is one of my favorite restaraunts in Salt Lake, and I constantly have friends in from other states, and everyone loves this place. Family owned and operated, so they really care about the food they produce, and it has an excellent atmosphere.
Amazing!! – This is Utah's best kepts secret. Amazing Italian food with other Meditarranean influences. The service was great too. If you haven't been to Confetti's I would suggest giving it a try, you will not be dissapointed.
Hidden Gem – I have to say when I walked in to Confetti's there were only a few tables there. My wife and I decided to stay and try the food since we have been driving by there for years. Now we wish we stopped in a long time ago. This place is one of the best restaurants I have been to. Although it should have been packed with people, considering the food is unbelievable. My wife and I found a our neighboorhood restaurant. I highly recommend trying this place.
A charming and satisfying restaurant that thrills with an eclectic mixture of influences and flavors. – The Scene
The art-nouveau decor is very simple. Two small dining rooms sport white-linen-clothed tables, and white walls with bright colored "confetti" stripes of purple, yellow, and blue scattered on beams and ceilings. Black high-backed chairs feature three thin prongs that look like the tines of a fork. A small outside patio spreads beneath a huge cottonwood tree.
The split-personality menu features Italian favorites like eggplant parmigiana, chicken picatta and gnocchi alongside Middle Eastern dishes like chicken couscous, hummus bi Tahini, and falafel.
The Meza plate ($9.99) is the best way to taste a variety of Mediterranean appetizers: the pesto-stuffed mushroom, grape leaves, hummus, baba ghanoush, and pita bread. The flavor of the mushroom was delicious and the pesto, mixed with Asiago cheese, was as fresh as can be. The hummus was smooth and garlicky. The grape leaves were warm and filled with rice, tomato, and fresh herbs, most notably mint.
Great – I have been going to Confetti's now for about 2 years, and have never had a bad meal. They have great pastas and their specials are to die for. Everyone looking for a great spot to eat, search no more!!!
Top quality food! – My friend and I went to Confetti's for Homecoming and I can say only good things about this place. The food was wonderful and the service was prompt and the servers and other guests were courteous. I enjoyed the atomosphere and, i will say it again-the food was great! I had the Confetti's favorite pasta-and it was awesome!
