betos is the best – i love betos its my favorite mex food by far. warning- do not go to the 400 S SLC betos, youll lose your appetite. but the new betos in bountiful UT is AWESOME! always clean always friendly always delicious. at others betos my delicious Texano burrito has been purposely tampered with, but never in b town. and the horchata is the best i have ever had
still the best mexican food – sorry , I still love Beto's , look for the original Beto's the old beto's got the name taken from them, for heath reasons so be on the look out on the Rancheritos, some mexican friend said some people got sick, so corp, took the name, so dont give up , keep looking for the best mexican food , the one here in So Ogden are verygood .
worst food in the state of utah. – I wish I had more hand to give this ten thumbs DOWN! I am a big fan of this type of food. there basically the same, gual bertos, rancharitos, betos, albertos, ect. but the location on 3500 s and about 8000 w is by far the worst quality food and most unsanitary by far. they park a dumpster next to the order menu so you can smell garbage while you order your gross freshley soggy biohardazous freshly made by unwashed hands food .I strongly urge another health inspector to verify my findings and discust. the hot sauce tastes like watered down bloody urine. the food has no taste, but ifyour lucky you might be blessed with a fly in your food. this place needs to be shut down then burned down for the good of the community and the atmosphere.
Awesome inexpensive Mexican food! – Beto's has really good food and the best spicy carrots in town, as the last guy said. Worth going for those alone. Also plentiful vegetarian options. Bean & cheese, and veggie (off menu but good) burritos are killer, and the two cheese enchilada plate is great for two meals or those really, really hungry days.
Fast-food Mexican of a gooier, more authentic and altogether tastier variety. – The Scene
It may not be glamorous, but Beto's is not about cute or colorful decor. It's truly all about the food. Despite the daily throng of enthusiastic burrito-eaters, the service is quick and friendly. The Spanish music is authentic, the staff is authentic, and they never, ever get your order wrong.
It's infinitely better than the generic fresh-Mex places that are popping up everywhere. This food will stick to your ribs. The Chili Relleno burrito--a homemade flour tortilla stuffed with egg-battered chilies, pico de gallo and guacamole--is especially tasty and big enough for a meal. The Lomitos Argentinos torta is a unique specialty--a grilled bun layered with steak, ham, fried eggs and guacamole. The salsa verde is spicy and fresh. In general, the food is generally flavorful and filling.
My Mexican – During a routine lunch break some coworkers and myself decided to go to Betos. We were disapointed in the parking but our disapointments went away with the price vs. food relationship. You get a feeling of really mexican taste without the over done traditional American infulenced mexican restaurant.
PS> The spicy carrots are the best in the city.
Yummy! – Their food was so good, I was also pleasantly suprised when I cut into my shredded beef burrito, and found tomatoes, onions, and green bell pepper slices. And the portions were HUGE!
I didn't like their cheese enchilada's too much, though.
I highly reccomend this place!
Muy Bueno!!!! – This is a favorite of our family, whether it's 6:00 p.m. for the super nachos with carne asada or 3:00 a.m. for their breakfast burritos. There isn't anything on the menu that isn't good.
yum! – not much else to say...the great food speaks for itself
Always room – I have tried every item on the menu, except the cabesa, (must be a personal issue-my friends love it) and it is so hard to choose my favorite! I love the fact that there is no skimping on anything. The chicken tacos are on my top 5 BETOS CHOICES. My 10 & 12 year old boys like them too. They also like the HUGE bean & cheese burritos beter than T.BELL,(yuck) and our favorite Sunday morning treats is when Dad brings us a breakfast burrito. We love them anytime! Oh yeah, the #7 is tops!
