Dr. OK - staff needs to be replaced – If you want to make an appointment or have a question, you better have lots of time to kill while on hold. They even set up a website that you are supposed to be able to do stuff easier and get results faster - ha ha - it is always down or says no information is available at this time. The billing department is the biggest joke - I have called every month - for 3 months now about a billing issue. Each and every time I am told it will be checked into and they will call me back by the end of the day. To be fair, they did not say which day?? I have yet to get a call or get it resolved. I have cancelled my appointment and am looking for a new doctor. I have gone here for years and it just gets worse.
Avoid Wasatch Internal Medicine – I decided to change doctors to find one with a location nearer my home. I selected Dr. Lynn Price of Wasatch Internal Medicine. I will never return.
I went in for stomach ailments, one of which was probably a recurrence of diverticulitis. She conducted an exam then ordered a CT Scan and blooodwork operating under the assumption that we would treat the diverticulitis while waiting for the results of the bloodwork and CT Scan. I would be given two prescriptions.
I went in for the CT Scan the following day and the technician indicated the results would be sent back to the doctor in 2-3 days. One day after that, there was still no prescription called into the pharmacy. I called the office and left a message with the assistant (who doesn't work on Wednesdays) Finally I got a call back and was told that the doctor gave me a written prescription in the office...I told her that the doctor told me she was going to send the prescription electronically. Oops..she would call it in then. When I asked if I would be called when the CT Scan and bloodwork results were done, the clerk said "yes."
It has now been two weeks since the CT Scan and two weeks and a day since my appoitnment and I've heard NOTHING. My call yesterday has not been returned either.
I have never been involved with a medical office this dysfunctional.
Jessica Morgan is Incredible - Office Service is Horrid – Dr. Morgan is an amazing doctor. I have been to numerous doctors over the years regarding dizziness, fatigue, and occasional blacking out. For years I felt like I was doomed to live with these things because all the doctors I had couldn't figure out what was wrong, though they never really tried or tested much, another thing most doctors are not good at.
I went to Dr. Morgan because I had been told she was fairly young and was very responsive to her patients. I went and I must say I have been nothing but very impressed with her. She is knowledgeable and thorough in her assessments.
Without going into too much depth, after nearly 15 years of no help from over a dozen other doctors and specialists, she started running through possibilities until we came across the main problem.
Dr. Morgan sends follow up letters and makes sure the patient is well-informed about what is going on and where the process is at.
The only downside to the office is that contacting anyone there is next to impossible and setting up appointments is hard, especially with Dr. Morgan because she is so popular, but worth the wait if you can. The office staff tends to be a little on the rude side, especially the billing people and they do not seem to care much about the patient.
I would give this 5 stars but the office staff does stink. Dr. Morgan is worth the crap you have to put up with with the office staff though and I very highly recommend her to anyone, especially those who feel like their doctor treats them like a number or uses assistants to do all their work. Dr. Morgan is very hands on and nice to boot.
Wasatch internal medicine is a joke! Dont go there – i had a 3:30 apt, at 3:00 i called and said i might be a little late, they told me if i was there by 3:45 i could still be seen. i showed up at 3:40 they told me i might have to reschedule. but to have a seat and they would check. i waited to over 30 minutes for them to tell me i had to reschedule for another day, If i would have known that i would not have even driven to the office.
i will never go back to that office again!

Great doctor if you can get past the front desk – I agree with the other reviewer that it is a little difficult to talk to the front desk when you call. It can be a little bit frustrating being put on hold so many times and for so long. It hasn't always been like that and I think that they might just need to hire a couple more people for the front desk. Once you are a patient, you can make appointments to see your doctor without too much of a wait. I have only had to see someone else once because my doctor wasn't available.
I have been seeing Dr. Jessica Morgan in this office for almost 5 years now and could not recommend a better doctor. I have been to multiple other doctors and she is the only one that doesn't make me feel like I am wasting her time. She takes the time to listen to all of your concerns and doesn't make you feel stupid for asking any questions. She is friendly, very knowledgeable and doesn't push anything that you aren't completely comfortable with. I highly recommend this doctor, you just have to get past the front desk.
Poor customer service – I called to set up an appointment and was put on hold twice. I finally got through and the doctors didn't have openings for 2 months. I asked if once I was a patient it would be hard to see a doctor if I was sick and they said I could always see a nurse practicioner but not a dr. I set an appointment. In the meantime I found andother WONDERFUL doctor at another practice. I called Wasatch Internal Medicine to cancel my appointment. I was put on hold for 2 minutes. I hung up and called back, I was put on hold again for 10 minutes. I called back 15 minutes later and told them I wouldn't hold and they said they were with a patient so I would just have to hold. After this experience I'd hate to see what kind of service they give if you are already a patient. Do not go here.
