They have the WORST customer service ever. BEWARE!! Will not take responsibility for anything, even when they ruin your equipment. Owner, SHAWN, told me I acted like an A$$ when asking for their responsibility in breaking our equipment. HUMMMM, let me think, keep paying you to ruin my equipment and speak horribly to me??? NOT!!!!! Do not use this company - BEWARE!!!!!!!!!
They lure you in with prices, but do not back up any of their products or service!!
They have the best prices around. They always have what I need and there free water testing is a must. Most of the time they are very busy though.
I was searching online for a pool pump and found Sunplay and they had the best price. I knew they were local so I bought it from their store and had them install it. It was the exact same price as buying it in the store and less expensive then buying from anywhere else online.
A month after it was installed it had an issue and called Sunplay and they sent somebody right out and it was fixed under warranty. Fantastic pricing and we received great service. I would highly recommend.
Awful customer service! Don't waste your money here. Prices are cheap but you are better off paying more elsewhere. Owner is scum.
I had a new heater for my swimming pool installed by Sunplay at the beginning of the summer. They not only had the best price (nearly half of competitors) but they had great customer service and got the job done quickly and efficiently! I will continue to use Sunplay for all my pool and spa needs!
THE WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!! – Please take your business else where. These guys do not stand by their work nor the workers they hire. The customer service is not service at all! If you can go anywhere at all please do so.

Sunplay Pools & Spas does NOT care about customer satisfaction. The store manager said that I could return a pool clearner. But the store owner denied this and called me a LIAR. I just wanted to exchange for a more expensive model but he would NOT allow it. The owner told me that he would rather LOSE A LOYAL CUSTOMER than allow the exchange.
There have been many dissatisfied customers. Sunplay Pools & Spas has a D- rating by the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
LOVE THESE GUYS! – I have totally loved dealing with these guys over the years. They have never been pushy to buy a hot tub or anything else in their store. They have great prices compared to the other pool/spa stores around and their hot tubs are top notch. We finally did buy one and got it for a few thousand less than the other dealers around and this thing is sweet! They are always so helpful in the store or when I call in with service questions. The couple times I have needed help with my pool, their service goes above and beyond to fix my issues and make sure I am happy with the work that was done. They do it right the first time. Thanks a lot to my pool guys!
Nice people. Good Products. Service Needs Work – Nice people. Good products. Don't count on their service! We had our hot tub cover blow open during a major windstorm. It filled up with leaves and was a total mess. I called Sun Play because we bought our hot tub from them. I scheduled a cleaning ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE. Even though I was concerned with waiting a week with all the crap that was now in the water, they assured me it would be okay, and that they would be there the next week Scheduling that far out would make it no problem for them to get here that day, Their words, not mine.
At 11:35 the scheduled day, I finally got confirmation I was on the schedule for that day. I was then told that they may not make it that day! "Will tomorrow be okay?" Tomorrow is NOT OKAY! That is why I waited a full week to get this done: SO I WOULD GET IT DONE TODAY! What the hell is wrong with people? I got a pretty much don't give a sh!t attitude from them.
If I ever buy another hot tub or pool, I will definitely think again about going with Sun Play.
As a side note: We had a leak in a part of the heating system shortly after purchase. They did fix it, but it took two or three trips because they didn't have the part, then the part had to be ordered, etc.
The Right Choice – I was in a car wreck about a year ago and have constant pain. I shopped all around for a spa and it felt much different at this store. There was zero pressure. I went there on three occasions before I purchased and never did I feel any pressure. It came with everything. there were no add on costs or extras they wanted to sell me. When I asked what it came with it included from the start what every other store I went to they told me they could probably throw this in if I bought right away or if you want to add this it would cost more even though you really had to have it. I have a neighbor that bought theirs from them and they love it. I took the Plunge and Couldn't be Happier. Thanks Sunplay
