A world unto itself, this garden is all flowers and waterfalls and hidden passageways. – The Scene
Surrounded by gardens, the Bloemendaal House stands as the focal point of Lewis Ginter. The white mansion, which was built in 1884, now serves as the site for parties, weddings and exhibits. Make sure you allow at least an hour or two to wander the grounds here. Of course, if you get enticed into the garden's gift shop, you spend even more time (and probably more money, as well).
What To Do
Visitors love the Tea House, which is nestled in between Asian gardens and waterfalls. Other nice areas include the Island Garden and the Children's Garden, where kids can play, dig and romp around the perfectly pruned landscaping. There are loads of photo ops so bring the camera. You'll find plenty of shady benches, picturesque bridges and floral backdrops which make great places to take pictures.
Awesome! – The Gardens are absolutley awesome. Perfect place to go to relax. Takes you into another world!
Pretty Flowers-But not Free – We enjoyed our day here but am curious as to why this is listed under the heading of Free Attraction! It was definitely not free and rather commercial for a botanic garden.
