Our dogs have been patients of Dr. O'Niell for atleast 15 years. We are so moved by the way Dr. O'Niell and his staff take care of our loved ones, it is important to my husband and I to reach out and let everyone know this. Wow, as I was reading over the comments about Dr. O'Niell, I was shocked and can't imagine anyone saying a mean spirited comment about him or his practice. Our dogs, as well as my husband and I, have ALWAYS been treated with respect and our visits have ALWAYS been pleasant and warm felt by Dr. O'Niell and his staff. From day one, we knew that our loved ones were in good hands and would be taken care of throughout their years. I feel compelled to write pages of our heart-warming, sensitive, as well as genuine caring experiences with his practice, but I will close in saying this: Dr. O'Niell has a wonderful and caring staff. Our dog is greeted by name (and so are we) every time we walk through the doors and we never had to wait long to be seen. Dr. O' Niell is compassionate in what he does and we never felt rushed during our visits. Did you know he also works beyond his hours at his practice if the need arises? On more than one occasion, he has taken our dog home on a weekend because she was so gravely ill and needed to be attended to 24 hours. Dr. O'Niell shared with us how he would stay up all night observing her and giving her the necessary treatments she needed. When my husband and I share this story, as well as many others, to our family and friends, their response is probably what yours is while reading this: WOW!! YOU HAVE ONE AMAZING AND SPECIAL DOCTOR! Our response is: YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT AND WE ARE SO BLESSED TO HAVE HIM IN OUR LIFE!!

Dr. O, evil?

I stii remember him running out into the parking lot to meet me when i brought in my dog whom I thought was choking. How many vets do you know who would do that? Dr. O is by far the best diagnostician I have ever known as well as being compassionate and caring. He takes a common sense approach to tests, never suggesting them unless they are really necessary. He never tries to pad a client's bill. I recommend him without reservation.

Fantastic Vet--Has cared for all our pets for years. We have found him to take the time necessary to diagnose the problem, and provide the appropriate treatment for the pet as well as the owner! We drive by 10 other vets to see him. He is a delight! Highly recommend this vet!

BEWARE EVIL DOCTOR O! – First of all let me make it VERY clear that this review doesnt pertain to Dr. Taetzsch. She is on eof the best vets i have come in contact with and being part of a military family, i have met more than a few veterinarians.

Dr. Oneill is very good at putting on a compassionate SHOW for his clients., while in reality he is cruel to customers as well as the poor undeserving staff of Tuckahoe, when visiting my poor pet in the behind the scenes are of thehospital i was disgusted at the pungent odor of feces and urine throughout the kennel area, and while waiting for dr oneill found him to be outside (clearly taking a smoke break judging by the foul odor on his clothes/breath and the visibly obvious pack of smokes in his smock...disgusting). I have personally heard, on more than one occassion, him degrage and belittle the poor girls he employs as well as the office manager( or joke of one) Jacqueline. As far as the licensed tech who attempted several times to draw blood from my dog and was unsuccessfull, wreaked of alcohol and had the shaky hands and bloodshot eyes to prove it , then proceeds to smack my dog and screamed at her to SIT STILL. This place is the LAST place Id take my pets! Clearly the staff /owners write these reviews! BEWARE!
