Tips for Seafood Harbor
Had Drinks and Dinner. The drinks came fast and the food on the buffet was fresh and being tended constantly. Both were delightful and satisfying. I told my brother about the seafood buffet and he wants to go have dinner there in a few weeks. If you are looking for a spot on the beach that is comfortable and casual this is the place to go!
ALL YOU CAN EAT!! Your $$$ Worth. RECOMMENDED!!!! U get more than your moneys worth! and its Worth the drive!!! All you can eat great fresh catch of the day, and they have non-seafood as well!!!!!! So good! Not expensive for the limitless crab legs. They have all you can eat salads, oysters, watermelon and soooo much!
it was good. My wife and I had lunch there. I had passed it up many times, but went in because it was close to our spot down the street. Had a luncheon salad, which was great. Highly recommended by us both. The crowd was not to big or small, just right.
Awesome!. i would just die for a plate at the Seafood Harbor again. Wasnt sure what exactly to expect when I walked in the door but my expectations were 100% satisfied. There was no long lines, no waiting, no rush and the service was great. The food was the best part about it. Everything was hot and ready to eat! Had a great experience IT WAS AWESOME!
I loved Seafood Harbor!!!!. I ate there with my husband a few days ago and I want to go back already! I am a seafood lover and I have to say that this is one of 'the best" buffets Ive ever been to. I recommend everyone in the Virginia Beach area eat there at least because you dont know what your missing!. Believe me you wont be disappointed..
My kids and I loved Seafood Harbor. I am a hard critic when it comes to cleanliness in restaurants and Seafood Harbor passed my test with flying colors. The buffet was nice and neat, there were no splatters of food or mixing of dishes. The plates and silverware met my expectations. Other then that the bathroom was very nice, it had a huge mirror for me to touch up my makeup and it wasnt messy like some of the others. All of the questions my kids had about the shrimp and crabs were answered by the waitress which made me feel comfortable. She didnt get frustrated or fluttered. Matter of fact, she even taught them how to open crabs the correct way! It turned out to be a great dinner for my kids and I.
don't waste your time or money. the food was terrible. 90% fried seafood from the freezer. the buffet is totally overpriced and the selection from the menu consisted of four items that are also fried. there are so many choices for seafood in the area and i was very disappointed and sorry for wasting a great opportunity for an extended family dinner at the seafood harbor restaurant. don't waste your precious vacation hours within this dump. I wish i would have done the research before organizing my large family group dinner.
Darling Seafood Joint.
I have grown to love buffets and I hope for a good meal every time I go to one. This one was especially good. It had several different items that I have not seen on a buffet before and while I do not frequent seafood places much, I was impressed with this one. It had several different crab dishes from actual blue crabs to pick, a crab patty, and crab legs.
They also had shrimp and two types of scallops cooked in two different ways and what looked like New Orleans craw fish. I wasn't sure how you were supposed to eat those but when I asked the waiter she explained to me the proper way and she was most sincere about it (a rather unorthodox method) however fun. they also had corn and rice that went well with the cray fish. I had a lovely time and home to go again.
also ladies- their bathrooms are splendid with little nautical decorations on the doors- too cute!
Best Seafood at the Harbor. My n my buds went last night and it was awesome. We had all we could eat seafood AND steak served on their menu. My buddy got the maine lobster stuffed with crab meat and we wanted to order a second one it was so good. We stayed for a long time eatin and chatin and the waitress was as nice as could be. i think we almost ate them out of their seafood. definitely go

I have never wrtiiten a review before in my entire life. But I must try and save the next person or family from walking to the near resturaunt. That location is the only reason I can imagine that this place exists. I have an expense account and still demanded a refund for this offensive display. It is a shame to the widlife itself to be served in such a lazy cold and cheap place. Hotel vending machines would have been better.
I should have taken time to read reviews first. After looking at reviews from others after my visit I have learned that when 5 stars appear that it is at the owners hand.Therefore it turns out that tonight was a positive event for me. I now know how to read though reviews and understand the truth. I suggest the owner stop writing 5 star reviews and focus on basics of food service.
Public be aware not to trust average scores. Read the reviews and decide who is honest.
PS; I hate that this site insists that I atleast give one star.
