I see there are some mixed reviews here, but I found them to be a good restaurant. I would definitely come back and probably even recommend them to other people.
I love going to eat at the beach! Seafood Harbor was really good, and I rather enjoyed the atmosphere. It was quieter and more relaxing than a lot of places at the oceanfront, so if you're looking for something different than I recommend here.
If you like crab legs, this is the place to go. The quality was great, and the buffet was stocked and hot the whole time. And to top it all off, the service was perfect.

02/25/12. This is the first time I have ever written a review. I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant. My husband and I decided to try it out since we saw "Seafood Bar" on the sign. It ended up costing $21.95 each for the seafood buffet (not including crab legs...those are $8.00 extra). The seafood was not good: overcooked, dry, not fresh, and some of the bins looked like they had been sitting out for hours. My husband ended up eating chicken tenders and mac and cheese. The dessert bar and salad bar were a joke.
The waitress we had didn't even refill our drinks. This restaurant is VERY overpriced, the atmosphere is dark and the staff was unprofessional. The service was not what it should have been for charging that much for food! I read a couple of the other reviews below and some of these people must be paid to write them because they have to be lying. They did not experience what we experienced. Terrible. We will never go back.
Avoid this place if you want a good vacation!!

Whoever does the advertising does a good job of making this place seem upscale to even nice.
The reality is this is dark and old restaurant with VERY low quality food and service to match. Way overpriced and this was the low point of my extended families vacation. Many hundred dollars wasted away....
I am in serious doubt on the legitimacy of the positive reviews. See Yelp, TripAdvisor, and Yahoo reviews for the real truth.

Best Seafood Buffet on the strip. This is the best place I have eaten ate my entire vacation. Seafood Harbor accommodated my budget and allowed me to get full and eat quality food. The reason I am writing this is to say thank you for making a great vaca in Virginia Beach. I hope to return to seafood harbor next year!!!!! Great food and place to dine.
Its a Family Restaurant!. Our kids are always all over the place! Its usually a "mistake" going out to any place for dinner besides our own home. 3 boys and 2 girls. The youngest is 2, the oldest is 16. Well, it was a pleasure to have someone else preparing and cleaning up a nice meal for once. The waitress was very patient and made us all feel at home. The seafood was great. Myself and my children were all full and the price was reasonable for my family. It was a real treat Hope to escape the house again sometime soon!!
Above average Seafood!. I thought the food was delicious. They had everything that I wanted on a buffet and it was perfectly located on the strip near our hotel. The worst thing about the place looks to be the small parking lot. But that is really nothing because they charge an arm and a leg for parking at the beach and its free here! The seafood is the Best part!
The food gets a 4. I usually do not write reviews but I loved it so much that I decided to write one. I had expected to go in and find old, dry seafood but instead the seafood was unusually fresh and tasted great. I would give the food a 4 and the service a 5.
Went last night and had a blast!. I had a blast with my friends at the restaurant! The wait staff was exceptionally wonderful and the food "hit the spot!" I am excited to go again, cant wait to bring my other seafood lover friends!
