Go to one in greenbrier – I don't know about the one in VA beach, but the one in the Greenbrier section of Chesapeake is a fabulous Cicis to eat at. the staff is wonderful and friendly, and they make sure your table is clear from dirty dishes. If you don't see a pizza you want on the buffet you can ask them to make it for you, you can get the whole pie or a couple of slices. The brownies, apple pizza, and cinnamon rolls are to DIE for. Also you can get specialty pastas made just for you. Its a really awesome place to go with family and friends.
HORRIBLE BUFFET! – First off, I'm a person who loves a pizza buffet, and I'm not quite that picky when it comes to pizza....even bad pizza is still kinda good.
Until I came here. Never go right when the buffet opens, because the buffet will be empty. They don't even start making the pizzas until the first few customers come in. So you may be waiting a while. And their pizzas were NOTHING like the commercials.
Well I was there on a Wednesday for lunch. All the pizzas had the same nasty Chef Boyardee type crust, and were extremely skimpy on the toppings. And they CONSTANTLY ran out of pizza. Unless you want to eat the 2 slices of jalapeno and pineapple that nobody likes, you find yourself WAITING for more to come out. And when they do, the stampede of fatties load their plates and you're lucky if you find a slice. Half the buffet was wasted by nasty dessert pizzas that nobody was touching. They had some pasta that tasted like noodles and ketchup...no flavor and looked like it was sitting out a while. The employess were obviously minimum wage and couldn't care less about customer satisfaction.
The pizzas themselves were HORRIBLE. You'd think they'd have a few pepperoni and sausage pizzas out there, but NOOO. They have these weird ones with small bits of veggies and other cheap toppings. Trust me when I say this...you get about the same amount of toppings on ONE SLICE of a normal pizza, than these guys put on an entire pie. What you mostly taste with these guys is crust and bland tomato sauce.
If you want a pizza buffet, Pizza Hut or Godfathers is 100 times better. If there is a better Cici's out there, I have yet to see it...but avoid this dump!!
A wide range of flavorful pizza pies--combined with the family-friendly buffet and affordable prices--are this regional chain's cornerstone. – In Short
