Amazing scallops with goat cheese ravioli. My husband and I are new to the area (but are total foodies- having dined in excellent restaurants all over the world)... we found Lucky Star by chance and LOVED it. I had the scallops with goat cheese ravioli while my husband had the rockfish. Both were wonderful. The desserts were nice. However, I wish we had gone with the crepes (19 layers with creme filling) rather than the typical brownie with ice cream. The cappuccinos we had with dessert were better than the dessert itself. We will definitely be back!
Flash in the pan-hopefully. Twice I've been subjected to less than adequate service at this establishment. The first time halfway through our meal the wait staff forgot we were there, when a large party came in. The second time, we were with a large party and two persons were still waiting for their main course when everyone else had finished theirs. This wouldn't be so pathetic, if it didn't consist of a glorified hamburger steak.
One of the best kept secrets. The food is devine never needing extras to taste great. The staff is friendly and on top of the service. They have a great selection of wine and the prices are very reasonable. the atmosphere is cosy yet open. Ypu can't go wrong with them.
