I used to work at the Flagship.
Allan (owner) steels from his employees by taking hours off their already small paychecks paid at $2.13 an hour.
He will tell you that the seafood is fresh but in reality, it is frozen.
The walk-in cooler is such a disaster. Daily, I would witness giant bins of food with mold on it. They would just scrape off the mold and use it anyways.
When Allan gets drunk in the bar, he will go into the bartenders cash register, take out money and then forget that he did it. Then he would deduct if from the bartenders paycheck and accuse them of stealing.
He refuses to hire black people, even though he is black. He has said it many times."I hate n#$?@!*s and I certainly don't want them working here".
If you ever get the chance, go into the kitchen if you dare and if you can get away with it. It is FILTHY!!!
I have many past employee friends that can agree with me on all these points. It is not slander, it is the truth.
Great Food. This was a pleasant surprise! Tucked away at the end of a cute neighborhood is this little gem. The service was really great and very friendly. Hot crab dip in the bread bowl was really creamy and the bread bowl was nice and crisp on the outside. Portions were nice. The ribs app wasn't the best, kinda fatty. The pasta with clams was a generous portion and so was the make your own feast (I had the fried calamari and crab cake) Yummy! Hubby had a burger that was HUGE and really gooey cheese fries!!
