CANT WAIT TO MOVE!!!!!!! – So I've only been here 2 months so far, and I can't be more thankful I only have 5 weeks left. This place started off okay, except that the floorplans online showed there to be washer and dryer in the apartment. At first this was my only complaint. The unit I'm in is fully renovated so everything was new... can't argue with that. However, it's a good thing I'm 5'2" because the shower head is about 2 inches from my head. Oh yea, and the walls are paper thin so I can hear my neighbors do just about EVERYTHING.
I guess they are still doing renovations around the property, would have been nice to know ahead of time. First there were signs that in like 2 days they would start tearing out front walkways, and they would let people know the day before theirs was to be torn out. Then came the letter last week stating the pool would be closed for 3 weeks for patio resurfacing. SERIOUSLY? In the dead of summer. That's clever. And I'm sure it's been scheduled for some time now, that too would have been nice to know upon lease signing. The latest letter posted said they'd be tearing something else out in the assigned parking area and that the cars had to be moved by 8am the following day or it would be towed. Again, a little more notice would have been awesome. The parking isn't in front of the house.. what if I didn't drive everyday and didnt see the sign, they would just tow the vehicle.
Then the latest.. the workout room.. or so they call it. I went to use the treadmills, which might be older than me, neither one was working. Called maintenance.. it's after hours and this isn't an emergency. He proceeds to tell me not to worry, this happens all the time. UMM ok.. I know this might be going out on a limb but do you think maybe we should get to the root of the problem?
So in conclusion.. if your short, own earplugs, and are only interested in quality of living space... this is your place."
money not worth – I was staying there few months back.
- Parking was a big mess...people from apartments across the street come and park. Management dont bother at all.
- No place for kids to play at all....and so, you would find mostly kids playing outside where its risky for them because of moving cars
- Management was arrogant
Overall its a quiet place. BUT the rates are way above what its worth.
Way too old for the price – Within about a month of living here everything started breaking down, the shower, the kitchen sink and the dishwasher broke. When we would request for it to be fixed, we would never hear from maintenance untill we just fixed it our selves. Parking is a complete joke. It's not because we don't have a decent sized parking lot, it's because people from the Sage Apartments across the street come over and park their cars all night, and management does NOTHING about it, unless of course, someone parks in the future resident spots. Who cares about the actual residents right? Not only that, people who don't even live here bring their dogs over to crap, and management still does nothing. The fitness center is disgusting. Don't even bother using the weight machine, it's usually broke anyway or someone is letting their kids swing all over it (probably why it's broken).
