I just DIDN'T KNOW!!. Strange, I've lived in the area for awhile now, and never tried this place. I wish I had sooner!!! Completely wonderful... from the view, to the food(which I must say was some of the best I've EVER had). Our server was fabulous, and the attention to every detail and wish was priceless. The meal was a bit on the pricey side, but truly worth every penny. Make sure to save
Simply, The Best--Bar None. Daniel's is the best place for eats, conversation, service, and the whole dining experience. In all of the places I've been, I keep coming back to Daniel's for a high-quality dining experience. For those who have yet been to the one at Bellevue--you need to go. For those of you who have been--you know what I'm talking about. ;o)
Good, but not great..
I like pepper a lot, but I had to remove most of what was on my peppercorn steak, which was otherwise quite good. The wine list is good, but VERY overpriced. $13 for a GLASS of decent Merlot? Please.
Food, view and service were both very good, but for the same price, I'll take The Met or Ruth's.
Steak and ambiance: they've got it.. Daniel's Broiler is tasty! It's located on the top floor of a downtown Bellevue office building, which is pretty neat. I'll definitely be back, once I have a little extra cash kicking around for a date. The atmosphere is great - dark, subtle liting, and big windows so you can see the twinkling lights of downtown Bellevue. The steaks, of course, must be tried. I had the spinach and bacon salad, too, which was awesome. If you don't have heart problems, try your steak smothered in bleu cheese dressing ;)
The most overlooked steakhouse in town.. This place rocks! Great bar, great food, and the service compliments all of this. Oh yea, the view isn't to bad either.
Good, heavy, predictable, expensive. Daniel's can do no wrong in their food preparation. Ingredients are top-notch, and cooking is solid. Beef, seafood, and lamb selections are excellent. However, the recipes are extremely conventional American food, and the recipes are heavy (high in fat). The salads are very traditional. Don't come here for innovation, nor for the vegetables. The wines are quite good. Vegetarians may feel out of place. Prices are high, and you can expect to be in a busy room full of people having business meals. The staff are quite professional, but not warm. Noise level is medium. The view is pleasant but not remarkable. A safe choice for a business dinner if you're sure the other party isn't vegetarian. Not a good choice for a romantic meal.
Not much to view. I love great steakhouses and I love Rib Eye steaks. Daniels prepared one of the best! I liked the semi-private booths but the view isn't the highlight of Daniels. Our service was great and the wine list is excellent. Food actually came faster then I like. Excellent Ceaser salad and the gulf prawns are great. Go at Dark for more ambience.
