Very very good experience :))) I am from Libya, of course it is a country Mediterranean coast and I can judge the food that they serve, I would like to say that , the food was awesome, very similar to the flavor at my country and around the Arabic countries too. I would like to recommend this restaurant so much. My friend ordered couscous and it was very very well cooked and same as the couscous that we prepare at my country :)))
Used to be excellent!.
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. But sadly lately staff do not care anymore, as in we have our clients who cares attitude. They Always trying to rush you to eat fast and leave despite ordering drinks, appetizers and full meal. I brought a client there having some drinks before meal and they keep rushing us and putting me under pressure to order. Food was served cold in more than few occasions. Orders were mixed up. Staff lately always looked overwhelmed hence effecting their customer service. This is only in last 2 years. Prior to this everything from food to service was 5 stars. As much as I love the food until they sort out their customer service ( back to their own original) i will not go there anymore. Maybe for take out.
.
Possibly my favorite restuarant ever. I consider this to be the best food in the area, but unfotunately it may only be for people who like a lot of flavor. Some of the people I have taken to dine at this restuarant did not seem to enjoy it as much as me, but perhaps its because I love garlic a little too much. I am not one for bland food. Everything is super delicous and flavorful. I love the pita and dip they bring you when you sit down, I love the soup. I usually get the dolmas which are so good. I am always tempted by the huge 15$ appetizer combo and often end up getting this and taking my food home. The place is small though and there is no parking lot, so reservations might be best. Its crowded inside and you do have to sit very close to your neighbors. This location is much preferred over the location in Kirkland which is less of a sit down restaurant.
Used to be good!. Vegetables overcooked to dreadful. Food piled into mass, rather than some presentation of a well prepared combination of foods. Won't be back after several good to fare meals.
Amazing!. The taste is overwhelming and made me want to come back for more!
Rude staff. Not family friendly.
We were at the restaurant with a party of 11, including 2 kids of 3 years old. After eating food the kids were roaming around our table in an empty restaurant, there were 2 other parties with kids of their own, we were nowhere close. We were treated with comments like "ask the kids to not touch the other tables" and "this is not a private party, so please control your kids". For some reason we lost our epitite after that. 3 of the elder kids went out with the little ones and sat in our van. The staff even had the nerve of asking us after that if the cake should be served out. Obviously we just took our cake and had a good time at home.
I've been a regular to this restaurant for the past 11 years. But this was just ridiculous. I would say, my last time there.
If you have a family with kids, save yourself the embarrassment from this staff. If you want a classy place there are better restaurants around the area like Cheesecake Factory and McCormick and Schmicks.
Very overspiced and not at all authentic. I hated this dining experience. Several co-workers recommended this restaurant and I was ready to be wowed. Instead I got a plate of food that was so overspiced, I couldn't tell what meat I was eating. It was as if someone who had never eaten Mediterranean food tried to cook what they thought would be characteristic of the region. The server was brisk and the ambiance was slightly gaudy. I felt very cramped in the dining room. I will not be going back. If you want something tasty on the east side, try Alborz in Redmond. They have wonderful food, service and ambiance.
Amazing Food.. Two things that bothered me at this Restaurant. It was very small, and we were seated right infront of the door, it's the end of January and it was freezing cold everytime someone walked in, which was quite often as it got later into the evening. The family got together for my sister's birthday, it was the 1st timeI've been here to eat. I enjoyed the CHICKEN SHAWARMA, I couldn't believe my eyes when this plate was delivered to me, it was extremely huge! It had the most awesome flavor, I was very happy with my choice, I had leftovers the next day for sure! garlic garlic garlic. You must loves spices & good food. :)
dissapointing dining- poor food and wine- expensive. I was exited when my husband invited me for a long awaited night out to this place. After difficult parking we waited for about 3O min in the street for our table. We were seated to a table and waited a long time for our food. The dish consisted mainly of yellow rice, not propely cleaned tomatoes and a meat so tough to cut that I had to send it back to the kitchen. They were pretty nice about it and gave me a new plate. However, still not easy to cut and not easy to eat. To boot, the watery, low grade glass of red wine that was served in a water glass was charged at $6. The dish did not have any authentic flavors that I was looking forward to. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
Doesn't taste Middle Eastern :(. Hmm..weird how people luv the food here LOL. I'm Middle Eastern and moved from Dubai where we have like a trillion Lebanese restaurants and believe me this food is anything but Middle Eastern!! Not authentic at all..if this was based in a Middle Eastern country ii would have gone out of bussines in no time. ALl i could taste was garlic, garlic and garlic. The price was too high too. I'm sure that the people who prepare the food aren't Middle Easterns and never tasted a real Middle Eastern food before. Even a simple dish like falafel was anything but a true falafel.I can make better ones at home LOL. The original thing is much better! believe me!!
