pluses and minuses – bought a breitling down in Orange County, nice watch, but keeps falling apart, every time you send out your watch through Alvin Goldfarb it takes several months to get it back, kind of a long time to be without a watch and not know what time it is. They do a fair enough job and this probably wasn't their fault but when my watch came back from repair the last time it looked great except that the little fluorescent dot at the top of the bezel was alltogether missing. Not sure how that could even happen, it's pretty obvious. I haven't done a purchase there but all things being equal I should trade up to something that isn't going to fall apart quite so much so maybe I will go in and check them out.
Amazing jewelry. Knowledgeable salespeople. Treated me like royalty. – Recently in Alvin Goldfarb Jeweler in Bellevue to purchase a Breitling watch during their Leap Year sale, and I was assisted by a woman named Katie. She knew her watches, treated me incredibly well even though the store was jammed. She answered all of my dumb questions, and then took me back to the sales desk where a woman named Sara took over. She made sure that the watch fit me so that I could wear it out the door, and she walked me through the sales process, so that I knew exactly was going to show on the receipt. While doing this, she offered to have my wedding ring cleaned and polished, again even though the store was jammed with customers.
I just read the last review by someone named Smithers, and all I can say is that he must have been in the store after imbibing if he had a bad experience. Sometimes in Bellevue you get those 'Bellevue Princes and Princesses'. Sounds like one.
I highly recommend Alvin Goldfarb for anything jewelry. You'll have fun.
Alvin Goldfarb - HORRIBLE – Alvin Goldfarb Jewelers in Bellevue, Washington is horrible. I actually had a custom ring made by them. They give you a great sell when you are looking to purchase a ring or jewelry but Alvin Goldfarb Jewelers in Bellevue fails to deliver on customer service. I have been in at least 5 times after the fact and have been treated like a second class citizen each time. I would highly recommend finding another Bellevue jeweler who actually cares about their customers even after the purchase. They are very expensive as well compared to other Bellevue jewelers. DONT BOTHER!!! If you are looking for first class service and quality, I would recommend Blue Nile.
disappointed – You walk in here and get the feeling that everyone thinks they are better than you...I had a terrible experience, especially with a lady named Sara at the front desk (she gave me a lecture about my watch and talked down to me like a 5 year old) and was just overall rude! Another gal, blond and I believe her name was Katie was also VERY VERY rude. I will not be back.
Fine jewelery at its best. – I visited Alvin Golfarb last week and was pleasantly greeted by helpful associates. Our anniversary is coming up and wanted to add to my husbands watch collection, this is a very special purchase and I sincerely appreciated the level of customer service and thoughtful personal attention that I received.
I would highly recommend this knowledgable, professional and savvy jeweler.
MOST UNIQUE JEWELRY – After reading the last review, I feel compeled to write. That review needs to be REMOVED from the page. That wasn't a review, that was gossip at it's worst. I got my engagement ring and wedding ring at Alvin Goldfarbs and the service was great, the sales staff was very helpful & friendly. They go the extra mile to make certain you get exactly what you want. Their designs are very unique as well, and if you want something designed, they do a great job. I highly recommend Alvin Goldfarbs.
This family-owned store boasts a richly deserved reputation for beautiful jewelry and unparalleled customer service. – In Short
Everything here is stylish and beautiful, from classic solitaires to the fresh platinum designs from Scott Kay and two-tone creations by Judith Conway. Staff members are knowledgeable and experienced; they'll educate you on a diamond's four C's and the various metals and settings, then encourage you to take your time selecting just the right setting and stone to create a distinctive piece that will be cherished for a lifetime.
Pretty pretty princess! – Top of the line, unique, beautiful good things. Jewelry and gift ideas for a wider range of allowances than you might think. Wonderful place to window-shop, too. Their first class customer assistance makes you feel like royalty even before you try on any of their jewels.
