Keep looking (buyer beware)!. Based on my personal experience in July of 2007, Mr. Painterman was an arrogant and rude man, which became apparent soon after I signed his contract. If personality was his only fault, I could overlook that--but the quality of workmanship his company provided was incomplete and totally unprofessional.

Here are just a few examples of my experience: Pressure washing took three attempts and still wasn't very good after all that. Prep work was not completed per the contract, as there were cracks and nail holes that were never filled or sanded prior to painting. Overspray was evidenced on cement foundation and the garage door area--and many drips were left on my unpainted deck and front walkway with no attempt at cleanup. The crew shot 3" nails up through my roof tiles which were left nicely poking through, damaging my roof. The crew busted off a favorite rosebush at ground level and never said anything about it. The crew also busted a 2x4 on my deck and never said anything about that, either. Even after I addressed each of these areas with Mr. Painterman himself, he neglected to remedy them to my satisfaction. The list goes on, but hopefully these few itemizations will help consumers make a better selection than I did.

Bottom line--keep looking unless you're up for a bunch of hassles, an incomplete effort and finishing up the job yourself. BUYER BEWARE!

.. This man insalted my wife, my children, and even our neighbors. I cannot believe such shady contractors are allowed to run their own business. we hired another local company based in kirkland, and they were just great.
