Worst Experience at a Theater!. I ordered tickets online and printed them in the morning. When I got to the theater with my 5-year-old, there were lines going all down the sidewalks. We go in and the boy taking tickets informs us, "Good luck finding a seat." Sure enough, there was not one seat in the theater! What is the point of ordering tickets online if your seat is not guaranteed? The kicker? They made me wait outside in that long line to get a refund - 20 minutes! There was no apology, nothing. The girl in the booth looked annoyed and as if she could care less. My son was crying b/c he didn't get to see the movie that we bought tickets for hours earlier. And of course I didn't get my $3 fee back that they charge for ordering tickets online. Avoid this theater, especially if you buy your tickets ahead of time on Fandango. I even tired to call the theater phone number and no one even answers.
Poor Customer Service.
I used to love going to this theatre because it's close to dinner places to eat at after the movie. However, the people working there are incredably rude, as I have experienced. Once, a child down the row from me threw up during the show. Nobody made any attempt to clean the mess up and the theatre began to smell aweful for the remainder of the movie. Another time, I was meeting my faince there and he was running a bit late, so I was getting the tickets and waiting for him outside. The movie we were seeing was rated R, but both of us are well over 17 (I am 20 and he is a month away from being 21). I stood in line to get tickets and they asked for my ID, so I showed them my ID. They then told me I could only buy one ticket because actually you have to be 21 to buy two rated R movie tickets. So when my fiance finally arrived, he had to then stand in line getting his ticket and we ended up being late to the movie. Since when is that a rule? At the Regal Cinema's website it simply states that for Rated R movies, a parent or guardian must be present and buy the tickets. So if I had a child at 18 and wanted to bring them to a rated R movie, I am their legal guardian, but I guess not at this theatre...
After these experiences, I would not recommend this theatre to anybody. The staff members are rude and inconsiderate. The facility is average, and it is usually difficult to find parking close by.
Nice But Crowded. This theatre is nice, and has plenty of extra parking in surrounding lots. The image and audio quality is good and the theaters are huge if you like that. There's no stadium seating which is a pain because this theater is typically packed with a suburban/high school crowd. On the weekends, expect new and popular releases to sell out an hour or two before showtime, especially for children's movies. The bathrooms are poorly located outside the ticketed area, so it makes for a longer trip if you have to run in during a movie. I did have this theater miss 10 minutes of audio at the start of a movie one time, and they wouldn't restart it, but I think that's pretty standard of all theaters.
Issaquah. Issaquah is a beautiful area to be in i love being in the area's with tons and tons of beautiful green mountians surrounding me. It's great being only a half an hour away for the pass and 15 minutes away from North Bend where my husband lives.
:-P. The theatre itself is nice, the food is fairly good and all, but you need to do something about the people, we got ripped of 30 bucks because the woman at the ticket sales didnt give us all our money back, and we didnt realize it until a few minutes later when we were buying popcorn. We talked to the manager and they wouldnt give us our money back, but they gave us two passes for a free movie. It still pisses me off that someone would do that though, the lady must have pocketed the money, but they dont believe us, they believe her.
A very friendly experience all around. Courtious staff in the box office, concessions, taking tickets, and everywhere.
By far this was the best theatre-experience I've had in a long time.
