worst experience ever! – i went to chuck e cheese in kent, brought six of my little brothers and sisters, upon arrival i realized i had left my WA state ID at home. I was only carrying my old california ID which expires in 2013 but the lady would not let me in because she said it had a hole punched in it. i thought it was ironic becuase my bank lets me cash checks with the same ID! anyhow I got upset and asked for a manager, so CHRIS a phillipino man comes out and tells me im under age and to leave. WTF im 20 years old and it says on my ID. So I left and came back with my 25yr old sister, i drove 25min to come and didnt wanna leave. When my sister asked CHRIS why he didnt let us in, he apologized and said sorry i thought she was underage. So my sister told him he was full of bullcrap. Then he calls the COPS! And told us to all leave because he didnt like our attitude. THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE. ALL OF MY LITTLE BROTHERS AND SISTERS WERE HORRIFIED. I CANT BELIEVE THEY HAVE EMPLOYEES LIKE THIS. I WILL BE FILING WITH THE BBB ON THIS INCIDENT. AND HOPE THEY FIRE THAT MAN CHRIS. HE WAS A RACIST MAN.
Loud, bright and safe, this is the place kids love for their birthday parties and special events. – The Scene
Not for those prone to headaches, Chuck E. Cheese is hectic, filled with arcade-style games and a periodic live show (complete with Disney-esque characters and "kidified" versions of popular videos: "Livin' the Vida Loca" is now "Drinkin' the Coca Cola." Kids love the amusement park atmosphere; it's one of the top places to host a birthday party. Kids and adults in one party are stamped with the same design upon entrance and checked upon departure to ensure safety. Most games provide tickets that can be redeemed for prizes--such as candy and cheap toys. You may want to hang on to your kids' tickets so none get lost or stolen.
About $9 a guest gets pizza, cake and game tokens for everyone. While the pizza is not gourmet, it is served hot and brought to your table.
