Dr. Mann is a terrible vet. Dr. Mann is waaayyy overpriced for the service he provides. My previous vet retired and Dr. Mann took over his practice so it seemed natural to take my cats to him. That was a big mistake.

I have 2 cats - one of whom is a senior - 10 years old. All Dr. Mann does when I take my cats there is to feel them, pet them, shove a thermometer up their rear-ends, listen to their heart and lungs, and give them shots. He spends all of about 10 minutes with each cat and then charges me an exorbinate price.

Senior cats need tests done to check for kidney disease, among other things. Dr. Mann has never done this. Senior cats need more preventive care than what Dr. Mann provides (which is essentially nothing).

Several years ago, I had a cat that developed an illness and needed to be treated by a specialist. I took him to the Cat Doctor in Federal Way. That is an awesome place. They spend 40 minutes with each cat, do tests, give them an EKG - they get better care than I do when I go to the doctor ;>) And with all they do with both of my cats what they charge me is far less than what Dr. Mann charges. Dr. Mann is over priced and under qualified. Don't go there!! You will not get quality, thorough care. While he may be a nice person, I'm not paying for "nice." I'm paying for good, thorough quality care for my fur babies, and Dr. Mann doesn't provide that.
