Tips for Tokyo Grill
New ownership?. I cannot tell you my disappointment last week when I went to the Tokyo Grill for the first time in months. At first, I was very happy to see the remodel had allowed space for seating and better lighting, but it was extremely short-lived. The man at the counter had the personality of a shoe and wasn't very helpful. I asked if the grill was under new ownership, but he assured me everything was "the same". So I happily ordered my egg rolls and chicken teriyaki and went home. When I got home I knew immediately there was something very wrong. The egg rolls were a disgustingly sticky-paste-like creation that were deep-fried in something very different from the rice paper they used to come in. There were no vegetables, noodles, nothing. It was so disgusting that I couldn't even finish my meal. Very sad.
