Not a CAREFREE Home!. Carefree homes is a good name for this company. When you have problems with your home, they don't care! I have had three water leaks with repair costs of over $15,000. the first leak happened when the home was just over a year old. I contacated the owner who told me they were not responsable for my repairs. My neighbors and I have lived in our homes for just over five years and everyone has had many problems with with poor quality and craftsmanship. These homes were all purchased for around $500,000, they should not be falling apart like this.

UPDATE!! Two years after the review above. I now have another water leak. It is under my home and is the hot water. The steam from the hot water has gone all the way through the floor and up the wall. Care Less homes used the POLYBUTYLENE pipe that in the late 1990's, had over ONE BILLION DOLLARS in claims for damages against Shell Oil, the makers of the cheap, substandard plastic plumbing. Why are they still using this junk? And why wont they stand behind the homes they build?? STAY AWAY FROM CAREFREE HOMES!
