Tips for Yeas Wok

Best in the NW. born and raised in Chinatown, NYC... Yeas Wok is the best Chinese restaurant after searching for something decent in two years! One minor downside is NW inability to make a REAL NYC egg roll!

Good chinese. I don't think this is the best Chinese food like everyone says, but it's pretty good. We used to go here all the time since we lived in the neighborhood. The owners and the servers are very nice...and our food came out very quickly, even when we had a large group. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxed and nice.

Good Chinese. This place was recommended and is very good chinese. They are not the best we've ever had, but it's tasty and they're fast and friendly!

Don't Miss This Place. We live in the San Francisco area and we think Yea's Wok is the best Chinese restaurant anywhere.

Fresh, beautiful presented food, quick service.

We visit the Seattle area for a week every Thanksgiving and we go to Yea's at least twice

They take reservations for 6 or more. Reservations, highly reccomened

Very easy access off the 405 freeway

Tasty good value. Not having to drive to Seattle, adds to the score of this place, parking is another. The food is pretty good and tasty. Good service and top it off with fair prices makes this an overall winner.

Great Food. Have eaten at Yeas for 10 years and the only thing that you have to worry about is the wait. If you don't like to wait order take out. Staff is friendly and offer great selections, take some risks they have 2 menus, English and Chinese. Just moved to Seattle from the eastside and haven't found anything that compares. We could only wish that the owner "Peter" would open a restaurant in the Seattle area, preferably in the U-Village, Wedgewood area!

Editorial Review. Newcastle strip-mall Chinese restaurant has a devoted local following; favorites include seafood and dishes with black bean sauce.

Worth the drive to Newcastle. Even though we live close to the ID downtown, we still drive over to Newcastle for our favorite Chinese food at Yea's Wok. I haven't tried a menu item that I didn't like here! You know it's a good find when the line is out the door every night the place is open. It's worth the wait to get a table and settle in for some great food. The service is attentive too. I only wish they would start taking reservations!

The Real Thing. I host a lot of people for business who are transplants from out of the Seattle area. My friends and clients from the East Coast (especially New York) and from other areas with notable Chinese communities and restaurants (like San Fran) are always disappointed with the lack of any great Chinese restaurants in Seattle. People have lived here for 15 years and not found a good place. I have yet to fail at introducing people to their new favorite Chinese restaurant in the Seattle/Eastside. It's been going on 9 1/2 years and I've never had anyone who wasn't anything other than utterly delighted that some place like Yeas exists. Let alone in Newcastle of all places!
