Loved their food!. I love taking my family here on Friday nights for dinner. The food is always fresh, hot, and the staff is very friendly. The only problem is that sometimes we have to wait in line to get in.

Not Shanghainese?. Unless you are Shanghainese don't bother to order any type of dishes which are Shanghai. It was really bad and SALTY, wow. The only good dish was the duck. If you want good Shanghai food, Szechuan Chef in Bellevue.

Very Good Chinese Food. Yea's Wok is an excellent Chinese restaurant located just off of Coal Creek Parkway. It offers some delicious Chinese fare. It has the average American-Chinese favorites such as General Tso's Chicken, and Sweet and Sour Chicken, but also has an extensive menu in Chinese. The portions are very large, so I would reccomend bringing some friends and having it served family style.

Lose the good taste. Ever since they change the chef, food is not as good as before. Can tell from the same dishes but less tasty. Used to be a good restaurant, but not anymore. My family or my friends stop going there since April, 2008. Sometimes heard from other friend's family, all saying the food is not good anymore. Same price, same portion, just not as good as before. What i say before is only apply to traditional chinese food, not american style chinese food like Kung Pao CK or General Tso's CK etc. Some appetizer still taste good, but not the entree. I order two to go in the past two months, spend average $50 each to go, eat some dishes, but throw away most because of the taste. Wu Xi spare ribs taste different, for example: Kong Xin vegetable with satay beef- beef taste like pork, and very strange taste, vegetable is old. We don't go there anymore, kind of disappointed.

Eastside Asian. Popular eastside Chinese restaurant. Not real authentic like in the International District, but not bad for a suburbian restaurant. The portions are what one can expect at today's prices. The food is fairly good, service mediocre. We ordered the candied pork chops, volcano rice, and tomato beef. Little did we know they'd all taste about the same....somewhat sweet. This restaurant is packed beginning at 5:30 p.m. from Friday through Sunday. Because of their location, which is ideal, they take in alot of customers from the Factoria, Lakemont, Newcastle area because there really aren't alot of quality Asian restaurants. Their convenient location encourages a high volume of customers who wish to eat, shop, or maybe mingle at the Starbucks 3 doors down.

yummy chinese. even though it seems to always be so packed my husband and i wanted to try a new place all are friends have told us about the place so we went and tryed and the food was splended wonderful taste big portions good prices for the amount of food if you can deal with a crowded place at all times then try it out i soon will be going back for more

Never again!. We've tried nearly every Chinese restaurant on the East side and still haven't found one that had it all. After reading the reviews for Yea's Wok we decided to try it for our Valentines Day dinner. First off, the hours posted on Citysearch are incorrect, they are NOT closed from 2pm to 5:30pm daily, their hours are posted on the door as open all day. We arrived at 5:15 and found people waiting, but figured that was actually a good sign. Tables are cafeteria style, side by side in two rows, not the most romantic or private, but it's a Chinese restaurant, we rarely expect booths or candlelight! Service was prompt and for the most part courteous, but you could tell they were rushed and not really in a friendly mood. We figured we were there for the food anyway, and what we saw on plates as we passed by looked colorful and plentiful. What we didn't see until our own food arrived is that every entree, appetizer and side dish is dripping with, soaked in, and otherwise glistening in oil...and not flavorful sesame oil either, but plain 'ol Wesson oil. First clue was our two little egg rolls which were shiny with oil. Our fingers were coated and after one bite my husband looked like he was wearing lip gloss. My Kung Pao Chicken had NO flavor and zero heat. I can usually live without heat if there is flavor, but there was none. There was a brown sauce on the gristly chicken, green onions and the 7 measly peanuts that were tossed onto the plate, but I have no idea what that flavorless brown sauce was made of. Husband had the Schezuan Chicken, which he said again had very little flavor. Puddles of oil were visible around both of our entrees. The Pork Fried Rice was a soaking wet pile of beige. It actually looked like minute rice. A half dozen green peas and a few carrot cubes gave it a little bit of color, but that was it. All oil and no flavor. Why in the world are people waiting?? Take out packages lined the wall, they obviously do a huge business, but we'll never go back.

Lousy service and food, far overpriced. We arrived at about 8:30pm on a weekday to a half full restaurant. Food and service were both lousy. It took them about 20 minutes to seat us, 40 minutes for the food to arrive, and another 20 minutes for them to process the bill. The waiter was very polite, though. The food is not anywhere close to authentic Chinese - just enough to fool the general public into thinking that it is. It's also way overpriced, even for a restaurant in Newcastle. For much better food at much better prices (minus the cute trophy hostess), go to the International District.

Chinese food at its best. Driving up you see a long line almost everytime. Once you get your food you know why. The food is so good and with a large menu you can come back many different times and try something tasty and new everytime. Everyone should try the walnut shrimp and chow mein as they are so good it is hard to describe. This review is short as everything about this place is good. Try it.

Yay for Yeas Wok!. Yeas is almost always packed, with a long counter of to-go orders waiting for pickup, but it is worth it! Cashew Chicken can be a bland dish, but is very flavorful here, with tons of chicken and cashews, chunky and crisp veggies, rich sauce, very colorful and wonderful. We also love the House Combo Fried Rice--we eat until we feel like bursting! There is a good green bean and shrimp dish also. Come early or expect to wait. It is worth it either way!
