This facility is one of the best for elderly care and general rehab needs. Their staff are VERY caring, kind, professional, and work well with family in communications and attention to details.
With a 90 yr old father in and out of a major hospital, the folks at SVH have consistently risen to meet his needs, including bringing to bear professionals in OT, PT, social workers, and of course their full time nursing and physician care. They "look down the road" at working with family about post rehab care and what that looks like for specific elder care needs. The facility is very nice and secure, and a very refreshing improvement from the last place recommended to us, in all aspects to consider, especially care.
Friendly & Knowledgeable: Great Care – I have visited the hospital once for a lab reading and everyone from the receptionist to the lab tech was friendly and knowledgeable.
I have also visited their clinic in Maple Valley, Lake Wilderness Medical Clinic where I received the same great care. I would definitely recommend both to anyone who is looking for medical care.
The best service I've ever had in a hospital! I will go back. – I had time with the doctor and nurse, more than anywhere else I've ever been. It was so nice to have them listen to us and help me out when I needed it. I would recommend them to everyone I know.
Avoid this hospital/clinic -- Try anyone else! – This hospital sucks. The doctor who saw our daughter seemed the think an 18 month old could be potty-trained if we just stayed in the ER long enough (she wanted a sample). She told us we were "lucky because 6 hours is the average wait time" (we only waited 2.5 hours). She did not provide us with ANY treatment or solution, and failed to help us feel that we are doing the right thing. She suggested we needed to "bathe" our daughter more to remedy a bad rash (our girl gets daily baths already). This doctor was also rude to us, causing many more problems than were solved. Then we got the bill: More than $400 for NOTHING. The other clinic in town charges less than $125 for ACTUAL care and assistance. I would NEVER ever go to this clinic again.
