They came to clean my living room, dining room, hall/stairs and did an amazing job! They even cleaned up what the guy who had came 2 years prior missed! I highly recommend them! My realtor was even impressed with the before and after and will be giving them a reference.
xtremely professional and kind. The service tech was patient with us as we moved our kids and dog out of their way, and I have never seen our carpets this clean. The went above and beyond to make sure that our experience was the best it could be. I will recommend them and use them again.

DISRESPECTING LADY – I called to get a quote and the lady wouldn't shut up. She kept telling me what I should do so I hung up. I had an agenda to get quotes to get my carpet cleaned. She had the nerve to call me back and lecture me! I will never EVER refer anyone or any of the business I work with to this company.
BTW they are over priced. I asked for a simple small living room/dining room clean and they quoted almost 300.00. That is outrageous. I don't know how the owner stays in business. This lady had the nerve to say that some companies can't stay in business cause they don't charge enough. That lady is so UNPROFESSIONAL.
Excellent Service – Somehow tar got tracked in on our brand new carpet. Ernie's Carpet Care came in before opening the next day to get the spots out for us.
We have known and used Ernie's for years. While they are not the cheapest they are consistently clean, well-spoken, trustworthy, and very good at what they do. They show up on time. They also take desires for scents or allergies into consideration.
Honest, reliable, great communication and excellent work – I've used Ernie's Carpet Care multiple times over the past 10 years, to clean carpets in my condo and in a rental house I used to own. I also hired them to replace carpeting in the rental house. Ernie, the owner, has always been the one to come to the location and give an estimate. He is always good for his word -- never any hidden charges. And the quality of the carpet cleaning is always better than I could have envisioned. I have referred several people to Ernie's and they have become regular Ernie's customers. (Ernie and his wife Joy have a generous referral bonus policy -- actual money, not just a discount on the next cleaning.)

In response to the review left by padamss 9/12/06; I went to her house to give her a cost estimate for cleaning services. The carpet was in very poor condition and had a lot of pet stains. I advised her that the carpet should be replaced, but she insisted upon having it cleaned instead.
On every job, there is a pre-cleaning inspection to note all pre-existing stains and conditions. On the padamss job, the baseboards were already scuffed with marks from a vacuum cleaner (which is common in many homes). Extra care was taken to remove as many of the pet stains and odor as possible. The next day the customer called to say she was pleased with the results of the carpet cleaning, but was unhappy with the condition of her baseboards. I offered to come out that day to address the problem, but she said it was inconvenient for her. I asked that she please call at her convenience for an appointment so I could come out to inspect the baseboards. She did not call again to give us the chance to identify the problem and work out a solution. Instead, she waited a few months, then, chose to write an unfavorable review. We feel this was unfair to our business as we were not given the opportunity to make good on our unconditional satisfaction guarantee.

Great initial customer service ... poor follow up – While the customer serivce was superior, the end result faltered. The carpets were soaked so much during cleaning my baseboards swelled from being over exposed to water, not to mention the large black line running along side of the board likley left from the carpet machine [no black line or swelling along the baseboard against the wood floors]. When I called to explain the situation, I was questioned as to the validity of my claim; he [Ernie] offered to take a look but didn't sound too intersted as I never heard from him again. I wasn't about to make a 3rd call to get the issue resolved, I just chalked it up to buyer beware. Now no one is paid until I see the work completed.
