The previous reviewer complained about Kasala marking up their inventory so that customers could enjoy the illusion of a 20% off sale. Well duh. It's called marketing strategies. They are their to make a profit, not to sell it at cost. I don't know Kasala, never been there, but wow... previous reviewer is ignorant to the real world.
Feels cheated – Almost everything I bought is Kasala and I became accustom to know Kasala as a place to go for cool, affordable home decor and home furnishing. However, I became totally furious when I realize that a $199.00 lamp that I bought there "on sale" actually sold of the same price every where else without any discount. Buyers' beware!. Kasala simply MARK IT UP and sold it to me at a 20% discount for $199.00. No wonder they are on sale almost 10 months out of a year. For the most part they just mark their price up so they can put them on a illusional "discount".
Ultra-modern, Italian-designed home furnishings and accessories for the perfect blend of form, function and funk. – In Short
Shopping here is like a stroll through the Museum of Modern Art or flipping through an issue of Metropolitan Home. Everything is a treat for the eye--a spiral-shaped, frosted-glass coffee table, brushed silver, jigsaw puzzle piece coasters, colorful rugs and an enticing collection of Alessi tableware and accessories. You'll spot Herman Miller's renowned Aeron chair, Techline's clean-lined, modular office furnishings and Arti & Mestieri's wall clocks that are, well, off-the-wall.
great style – more expensive than dania, but worth visiting. lots of their pieces are special order. ask for help if you don't see what you like, they have many catalogs for you to look at.
good deal – Excellent experience. Ask for Victoria, she will take good care of you and offers lots of advice on interior decorating. Will not hesitate to point out other stores that may have what you are looking for if you cant find it in their store.
Kasala – I was surprised by the other reviews. When I visited kasala I was greeted and allowed to wander, and when I had questions they were answered very thouroughly. It was clear that the staff knew what they were talking about. As for the other reviews, I guess they would prefer some sketchy salesman hanging on their every movement.
Bad Service... – Went during fall sale; NO ONE in store but me and 4 sales staff...wasn't greeted, welcomed...they didn't even acknowledge me! Walked around looking for a particular chair--finally found it and STILL NO HELP. When I approached, I was pawned off btwn several sales staff b/c one was on the phone and the other was making signage. Grrr.
Nice chairs but CRAP service for such trendy furniture.
Overpriced micro version of IKIA – The store has some (very small) selection of quality but completely overpriced furniture.
