They have been so helpful the several times I needed to eat gluten- and dairy-free. And the food was delicious!

Really terrible service and completely unhappy with the meal, quality, customer service standard from the server to the hostess.

we went to this restaurant with some friends who claim they have been here since the early 90's? i don't know why they continue to eat at this restaurant as they had terrible quality my food came cold. The meal wasn't edible at all if you ask me. The waiter was not friendly or tried to be either. He just threw the food in front of us and left.

I honestly thought it was one of the worst dining experiences i have had.

will not return to this restaurant and do not recommend them.

Underwhelming, over priced and wildly hyped.. Before eating at Wild Ginger last night, I read many reviews from over the years, and all recent reviews raved. Sadly, all those bad reviews from years ago are just as accurate now as they are then.

What I found was a place that takes a reservation, but still takes almost 2 hours to get you seated. If the food quality was there, I was not going to openly complain. It was not.

My group of 5 ate family style, ordering a smattering of things, including the 'recommened' 7-flavor beef, along with some more traditional foods like the Chicken Phad Thai.

Across the board, the food lacked any real flavor at all. The Phad Thai noodels were over-cooked, and the beef didn't even have 1 flavor, much less the 7 we were promised. In the end, the nearly $300 bill was paid and we left, without a word about the food.

I think we all felt that we'd been duped, and too embarrassed to admit it to each other.

How anyone can rave about this establishment is far beyond my understanding. I found the food on par a shopping mall fast-food Asian joint. I sincerely wish we'd stuck with one of Seattle's truely good establishments instead of being fooled by hype.

In closing. Save your money, save your time and most of all save your taste buds from being disrespected.

Wild Ginger is Wildly regrettable.

Most consisten restaurant in Seattle. This restaurant is always amazing! The food is just perfect every time! It has a great busy atmosphere andis not pretentious at all. You can be casual or dressed up, which I like. But mostly...the food, the food. the food! Delish!

Great food! Great service!. This restaurant was highly recommended to me by a fellow traveller and so my husband and I took my relatives for dinner here. Every single dish we ordered was exceptional - definitely comparable to any New York restaurant! Their sommelier was very knowledgeable with their wine inventory. It was Valentine's Day and I thought they would rush us but surprisingly, they did not. We will certainly return to this restaurant whenever we're in Seattle.

Hit and Miss...mostly Misses. Bellevue Wild Ginger:

- Boar satay - cold and chewy

- Whole crab - ordered the wok-cooked w/ginger & scallions, what came was a slimy mess (and we LOVE getting messy eating crab!) and only legs...where was the crab body? We left half on the plate. It must have been sitting for a while before being served, it was awful.

- Phad Thai - nothing special, not hot

- Soups - both were good, but not hot

- Clams - EXCELLENT! nice broth, asked for some bread to soak it up with. Waiter said, "maybe I can get you some of the bread from the bruschetta' and 15 minutes later after broth was cold, delivered 5 tiny slices of bread.

- strange, we had 3 separate times of being handed hot wash cloths

When I got home, I was still hungry after spending over $150. I was really disappointed and won't go back. Not worth the trouble for a 2-1/2 hr meal. Ugh.

Seattle's Best Restaurant!. This is my personal favorite! Best appetizers (must have the mushrooms) - great service too!

Overrated. I don't get it. What's so special about this place? I came here recently for a special occasion with a big group and we ordered a number of dishes off their menu. None of them impressed me all that much. A couple of the entrees taste similar to what I could get at a good Chinese restaurant, but at double the price and half the portion size. I understand the whole concept of quality over quantity, but I don't see that here.
