Oder the mussels and a bottle of wine and soak in the lovely Elliot Bay views at this market classic. Outdoor seating on a patio with a view is a plus!
Great French inspired Pnw food, wonderful views and friendly service. A gem hidden in the market. Don't miss those mussels!
Nothing will make you fit in more than pronouncing the name of this restaurant correctly -- something even Seattle natives can't always do. It's 'plahs pih-GAHL'. As in, "mise en place" and "you've got a lot of gall!" Probably not what the name actually means, though.
place pigalle great wines and food – loved it from the moment go and have been back 3 times in 5 weeks so what does that tell you.I have to recommend the mussels pigalle and any glass of wine from the house list will put a smile on your face. the views were nice and my service was even nicer. i am happy to say this is a hot spot in pike place market
Romantic Seattle Restaurant Place Pigalle – I am member of a daily deal site called Tippr and I bought the Place Pigalle voucher. I finally got around to getting my wife out of the house to a romantic dinner and used my voucher for the meal. I was welcomed warmly and seated quickly and all I can say is that the food was better than described on the website. The owner stopped by my table shook my hand and asked if we needed anything. My wife was amazed that i went through the trouble of finding such a romantic restaurant that had so of the best food.I wanted to say that this restaurant is one that deserves more attention and is worth the money.I have recommendation that you try the mussells pigalle and the roast duck.
Best Seattle Restaurant – i want to leave a glowing review for one of the best restaurants in all of seattle. Place Pialle has gone out of their way to make my dining experience a pleasurable one. They executed on preparing dishes and created a aptomsphere in which one can lose track of time.I love that wine list was extensive, service was great not over the top and that i had a great time with my loved ones. I will surely visit this place again and recommend the french onion soup to all who will listen.
Seattle French Restaurant – I wanted to try something I never tried before which was French food. I looked around on the net and asked for some recommendations from friends and happened to upon Place Pigalle.
I made a reservation and was prepared for nice evening with my girlfriend. I arrived at place pigalle to see romantic and charming restaurant in the heart of pike place market.
We had only short before being seated,so we sat at the bar for a glass of wine and just enjoyed the surrondings. When seated the server recommended the mussells pigalle and a another special wine which was her favorite.
My girlfriend and I enjoyed the french onion soup and salad with scallops. The main dish that was prepared was roasted duck which was a first for me and I really liked alot.
Anyways i would recommend this nice restaurant to anyone looking for a new experience downtown seattle
Place Pigalle Downtown Seattle – This is one of finest and most romantic restaurants in all of Seattle. We went there for Valentines day and had a fabulous meal and evening. The service was fantastic, and the food was prepared with great detail. I will recommend to anybody who needs to be pampered for a evening.
The only problem I had was finding the restaurant, but once i was very happy i found it.i give thumbs up to place pigalle restaurant
Place Pigalle Seattle Restaurant has great Food – i took my date to place pigalle for a romantic night. The place was recommended to me by some friends and i thought why not. The views were great and the food was so good. i had som french onion soup and a salad with scallops.
My date loved the wine list and we had a few glasses and enjoyed our evening. considering this is fine dining the bill was not bad,so prices were to high at all. i would recommend this place to anyone
Amazing View and Seafood – Went here for some app's and drinks on a nice day, right below the market and very friendly atmosphere, not huge, so we had to wait a little while to get a table, but very friendly and tasty.
A GEM! – I discovered this Gem of a bistro tucked deep in the market and it was a terrific discovery. It is truly one of my favorite places to relax and have a late lunch. The staff is absolutely fabulous and along with an intimate dining room overlooking the bay and fantastic menu it all equals a great experience each visit. I highly recommend a visit if you want a unique experience in Seattle.
Incredible Restaurant, Great service, great food. – I discovered Place Pigalle about one year ago. This is one of the best restaurants in seattle. The appetizers do just that, but on the soup/salad secion be careful...the bowl of onion soup, while extremely delicious, will leave you full. So if you plan on eating anything else other than maybe an appetizer and desert, avoid it. However if you want it to be your meal, it can be. And a very good one at that. The pork chop, although it changes in serving style, is always delicious, tender, and juicy. Special orders are well accomodated, I went here for prom and my date was a vegitarian. She was still able to request one of the entrees in vegetarian style, and it was delicious. The mussels are one of the best dishes on the menu, and will keep you coming back. The lamb is absolutely delicious, as is the steak, both are prepared with great care, and have accoutremon specially selected for the season, keeping them fresh at all times. The atmosphere is fantastic, great view, ambiance, and with the owners on site, you can tell there is pride in the service and cleanliness of the restaurant. Staff is very helpful, and knowledgable about the wine list, in fact the resident oenophile also is the main wine purchaser at the Columbia Tower Club. The bartenders are entertaining, and drinks are carefully made. They are also very knowledgeable about the establishment, and are wonderful to strike up a conversation with. The owners usually handle any sort of anomoly of service personally, and are very friendly. This is a place where anyone can have a great time, not snooty or pretentious, and the view is to die for. Busy times are some of the best times to dine, and occur on fridays and saturdays. Make sure to make a reservation, but even without one it is still possible to obtain a table. Enjoy this place, (pun intended), you will not be dissappointed.
Who brings dogs? – I'm sorry, but to the person below this review, who brings dogs to a nice restaurant? This place is awesome, and I agree with the waitress. Sorry, but I don't want fleas and dog hair in my meal when I am out on a special occasion! Leave your dogs at home and get real!
