Great hotel BUT... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at goo.gl/FPxYD They have some of the best hotel deals on the web!
Good but not Great. Probably won't go back. Good but nothing special and the food wasn't as fresh as I like. Also had trouble finding something appealing and interesting on the menu.
Fantastic Meal, Great Service. Great spot, had a delicious meal, and great service. would definitely recommend for a nice downtown dining experience. Sazerac is a whimisical place, a place to drink 5-7 nice cocktails with your supper, or a place to grab a darn good bloody mary with brunch. It's downtown, so expect a nice meal that certainly isn't cheap - but is very reasonable priced for downtown Seattle restaurant.
Horrible Disappointment. I didnt have a reservation for a wednesday night so we had to wait 30 minutes which is fine, makes you think it must be worth the wait. i had found the menu online and was impressed and looking forward to southern food with a gourmet feel. We were on a rare date night downtown and wanted a good meal, willing to pay for it. Once we were seated we were given happy hour menus (at 7pm) and thought how nice they have happy hour but that was the whole menu, burgers, pizzas and salads. Not the "southern"food i was expecting.. We asked our server for a dinner menu and she looked bewildered that we would ask for that, we told her never mind and ordered drinks and some mini burgers and pizzas. If you were looking for cheap they were only $2 but not the nice meal i was looking forward to. The burgers were cold. We told another busser and he still left 2 plates of barely eaten burgers on our table while we ate our pizzas. If we said we arent going to eat them why would we have to look at them for the rest of the meal. The pizzas were good, Our drinks came as we were almost finished eating. We were never asked how was our food, although the burgers were sitting on the edge the whole time. So our nice elegant meal was cold meat and $2 pizzas. As I walked thru the restaurant to go to the restrooms I glanced around to notice that everyone, in all there nice business attire, was eating burgers pizzas and salads. I thought maybe only our burgers were cold but i saw other barely touched plates of them being collected as well. The service was about the worst ive ever had anywhere. that is the main reason i am writing my very first restaurant review. I was really confused and shocked and we were out of there in a half an hour.
Really Great Food and large portions.. After walking around and just finding some random place to dine like we usually do after a show on a friday night, we stumbled on this little gem. We were hesitant at first because the place practically looked deserted but went in anyways, what heck it's an adventure right? We were seated right away. Usually when going into a restaurant you have a few seconds up front before they bring you back, it was probably because they were slower that evening. Our server was great and we had our drinks very quickly. We ordered the beef tar tar and I got the butternut squash with goats cheese, while my boyfriend enjoyed some sort of deep fried chicken with mashed potatoes collard green and veggies. It was very southern. Everything tasted great. And the portions were huge. Thankfully my dish was a small plate at a very affordable $8, so I was able to enjoy the two huge bowls of potatoes and greens they put in the middle of our table. When they say large plate they really mean it. Dessert was good to and the wine selection was pretty good. Overall we had a good time with a friendly server who wasn't over attentive. We would defintly go back.
Tasty comfort food, great atmosphere, attentive service.
My wife and I had dinner at Sazerac last night because we felt like having some southern comfort food during a rainy & windy night. I was a bit skeptical about the restaurant?s service because of some recent reviews here on Citysearch. However, we were very pleasantly surprised!
After being greeted very warmly by the hostess, we were seated in a booth of our choice. Our waitress introduced herself promptly, drinks arrived quickly and so did our food. My wife had the catfish and I had the scallops with an extra side of brussel sprouts. The food was very tasty and we enjoyed our meal.
Sazerac has a great atmosphere ? it is painted in warm colors and soft music was playing. Despite the reviews, we found the service to be attentive, quick, and friendly ? if maybe a bit inexperienced ? and we were able to enjoy a romantic evening out.
Bad service. We went there for Happy Hour...well, I thought we did. The guy at the reception was pleasant and polite. Everything was great until we got a table. The server (I am talking about you, Baldie!) was horrible. Happy Hour menu was horrible. $4 draft beer? What's happy about that? And there was no price on any of the food menu for Happy Hour. We were still willing to try after we saw flaming stone ovens....but the server did not come back to get our order after he slammed a glass of beer in front of me. So we left. That's just too bad. It looks pretty promising for pizza and great atmosphere, but when the service is that bad, nothing looks appealing.
Great place for pizza. If you are looking for pizza this is the place to go .. if you are looking for a great dining experiece or outstanding service try any of the other wonderfull choices Seattle has to offer .
Management is terrible.... not the place for your memorable events. We took our daughter to this establishment for her milestone 18th birthday. We made our reservation early and called ahead of time to insure that well behaved children were welcome. We were informed they were and that children frequented their establishment. When we arrived our server was GREAT and the food was pretty good as well. HOWEVER, when my child fell and started crying we were ASKED TO LEAVE!!! Can you believe that!! If you are looking for a nice dinner to enjoy with your family do NOT visit SAZERAC
mediocre service with a limited menu. I recently went to Sazerac for business meetings for both breakfast and dinner. Dinner was delicious and I highly recommend the pork belly. The server was very attentive and personable. Breakfast on the other hand was seriously lacking. It took about 30 minutes just to submit our coffee orders let alone order breakfast. There were perhaps 6 other tables that were occupied, three servers, and yet it took forever. Thankfully we had time, but the service was seriously lacking, not once did the server come by and ask us how everything was, nor did he offer refills on our drinks until we were done with our meal. For a restaurant to charge the prices they do with nearly non existent service... It was pretty appalling. The other thing to keep in mind, if you check out this restaurant, is the limited menu selection. Considering there are so many amazing restaurants in Seattle, given the option, I would go elsewhere before coming here.
