Kenneth Cole made his name in shoes, and this is still the place to buy sleek and sturdy leather footwear in, for the most part, enduring styles. While a few fleeting trends are represented, most of the clothing and shoe designs are both classy and classic. Reaction is a line of slightly less-expensive shoes, coats, bags and eyewear for men, women and kids.

Don't Be Fooled.... Do you remember Oaktree in the 80s? A millenium recreation as Kenneth Cole - rotten service, same trendy garb, ridiculous prices. Never pay cash - if you aren't satisfied, you won't get your money back. GM informed me that I could full credit w/debit card, and when I returned, she declined. Mail checks supposedly take 6wks to process- after 6wks, I called store to follow-up...the GM stated she didn't file the refund paperwork correctly. When escalated to corporate offices, it took an additional 3wks to process. I could get better service at WalMart! Kenneth Cole is overhyped and the items which are fabricated in third-world countries, are overpriced. If you must buy Kenneth Cole, I recommend you purchase elsewhere (i.e. Nordstrom, Bon Marche) - they will have a return policy that respects the customer, and a POS system from this decade that can handle the real demands of customer service.
