Used to be great – Unfortunately it has closed and cannot give you any fabolous ice cream:(. However, there are other cafe's and restaraunts that are close by that seem to be very nice.
Best build your own Ice Cream – Best place to make your own ice cream or have someone make your ice cream for you. Also the best location because not only are you able to eat ice cream but you are also able to work it all off by walking around the lake while youre at it.
Advice: even though a kids scoop looks like it's enough for you just remember that it can only really hold one topping before it's just a bunch of toppings and barely any ice cream.
Recommended: Regular scoop with about 3 toppings and you'll get the same amount of ice cream to toppings
Best Flavor: Peanut Butter, Rasberries, Sweet Cream ice cream in a waffle cone = PBJ in ice cream form

Employees stand in front of marble slabs where they mash everything from Gummi Bears to graham crackers (called "mix-ins") into ice cream for made-to-order treats. The five flavors of ice cream--chocolate, vanilla, sweet cream, cheesecake and espresso--are made in house. Try a waffle cone with strawberry cheesecake (cheesecake ice cream, graham crackers and strawberries) or a cup of "Jet City Buzz"--espresso ice cream and a shot of espresso.
best pregnancy craving fix! – This place is the best place to fill your pregnancy ice cream craving! During my first pregnancy we frequently frequented The Mix (formerly known as Marbletop) and I definitely enjoyed every calorie of it! You should see my butt... thanks Marbletop!!!! I have now taken many people there after raving about the great ice cream, great service, awesome atmosphere and just an all around everytime great experience! Yea, I'm no college student like many of the other patrons, but no one ever once batted an eye lash! So if you are looking for a great scoop... or two or three... of ice cream, head down to The Mix, you won't be disappointed!!!!
Good stuff worth the wait – If you're craving your favorite ice cream on a warm summer evening and want to eat it on a terrace overlooking a lake, there's no place better than the Green Lake Mix. Early-morning exercisers, beware--the smell of fresh-baked brownies wafts out towards the lake and can be tempting enough to make you want to quit your run and have some ice cream on the spot.
