The menu is amazing.. The menu is amazing. Where else can you get a real ice cream soda fountain milkshake and eggs as a meal option? They have soy for my coffee, veggie sausage, crispy bacon, smoked trout, hasbrowns, grits, eggs Benedict, chorizo, smoothies, oatmeal, pancakes, Belgian waffles....The list goes on. Their cinnamon rolls are delectable, but also about 1000 calories each so I try to ignore them flirting with me from the menu. I always leave full and happy

can't resist. We're old school regulars to Mae's, so it was a surprise when they started adding weekend specials. I can't resist novelty - so last week I had the 'ooh-y gooh-y' (or something like that) French Toast. Now they've had the rare and delicious Cinnamon Roll French Toast for years (our 10 year old's go-to order) but this new special is made with Croissants. !!! Who knew? It works though - esp. with the fresh strawberry jam (and whipped cream).

Now they've got 2 new twists. I couldn't bring myself to order the pancake with worms (I'm not a big gummy bears/worms fan) but the Turtle Pancakes - WOW!. How can you not love chocolate chips, pecans, caramel sauce and whipped cream all on or in the pancake?

Thank goodness for being able to hoof it.. Unlike some other reviewers, I've tried many a dish, been many a time and most recently dined here this afternoon. I love Mae's. Thank goodness for being able to hoof it.

their coffee is fantastic. I've been going to Mae's for years and it remains one of my favorite breakfast places ever! their coffee is fantastic, whether you have drip or a soy mocha. big ole omlets, yummy hash browns, bacon, etc. it's all good. I love the eclectic decor and casual atmosphere.

The hub got the Popeye omelet.... I got the pancake sandwich when we went to Mae's Cafe, which isn't a real sandwich (even says so on the menu), but it was 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and your choice of a breakfast meat. I picked turkey link sausage. I was eyeing the milk shakes though. The hub got the Popeye omelet. The food came out quickly and was filling.

We are HUGE fans. We've brunched in Paris, Amsterdam and Tel Aviv, New Orleans, New York and San Francisco. After two straight weeks of eating in every recommended diner in Oregon, it's official: Mae's serves the absolutely BEST, bar none, breakfast/brunch! Your HUGE fans, Elle, Julia & Aliya

The service was great, the waiter was always around when we. I went here with my wife and cousin for a late breakfast. I really ordered the chicken fried steak. It was real good. The breading was crispy and the meat was good and tender.

This was mine and my wifes first time there. The service was great, the waiter was always around when we needed him.
