When you need a fast burger this is the place. Just remember no substitutions!
Best burger and fries around!. I have been going to Dick's since I was a kid. I live on the Eastside but still drive over a couple times a month to Seattle just for the food. Awesome
Best Fast Burger. This place is great if you want a fast burger. Even though they are always busy the lines go fast. They shakes are also very good. My favorite is the Dick's deluxe burger. One thing to note is they do not do special orders. You either get the burger there way or not at all.
Pretty Darn Good. Came in here with my 17 year old son and it was pretty good, burgers were great and the shakes are amazing, but the big line is a hassle...
Great!. I tried this place for the first time in January 2010 after hearing about it for years....I was pleased. Really enjoyed the burger. Next time I plan on trying the shakes, wasn't to fond of the soggy fries, but they tasted good......
Awesome Burgers & Shakes, but Soggy Fries. I personally love their burgers (& I love that you can't use their name in the review because it's inappropriate) and shakes, and the employees there are especially nice, considering they make >$10/hour. However, I am a crispy fry sort of person, and their fries are too soggy and greasy for me. There are people who like this better, but not I. I would recommend getting 2 burgers and skip the fries, but that's just me...
Unless you are drunk I would recommend it!. Greasy and tasteless burgers! They are counting on drunken college kids who do not have much to spend.
The Most Overrated Burger Joint In Seattle. It's amazing at how hyped up this place is. The food is mediocre at best, and the service is terrible. The only form of redemption is the price, which even then isn't that good. There is much better burger joints in the area, for example Daily's up on eastlake and Red Mill.
The WORST burger experience ever.
I can't believe this is the top of the heap for burger joints in Seattle. I went expecting a fantastic burger, and with the lack of service I got, it should of been the best burger ever. First, they don't take requests, which was ok for my burger, but was not for my dog's burger. They act like it is too much trouble to leave mustard and ketchup of a burger. Anyway, I order the quarter pound burger, a chocolate shake and french fries, and oh yeah ketchup, cause they charge for that. I proceeded to scrap the ketchup and mustard off my dog's burger, went to the car and began to examine the food. First off, let me tell you my shake was not fresh. I saw the girl pull it out of the freezer. Even then, it was somewhat melted and barely chocolate. Second, I picked up a fry which was completly soggy. All the fries were limp and greasy, I couldn't even consume them. So after a dismal start, I opened my hamburger(you know the one that is just so good I couldn't custom order it). I now know why they can't take requests. If they did, then they would never be able to sell the heap of soggy, mayo drowned mess I got. Needless to say I don't even know why this place is open. Save your money and get quality at McDonalds. At least you can get just a patty there(and every other place I have been too). The best thing about the experience was the lively crows that provided us with live entertainment by fighting over the left over buns in front of the building.
Pros: The Crows
Cons Greasy fries, melted shake, soggy burger, no service, no quality, pay for ketchup, don't take requests
I can't decide...
What was worse? Could it have been the terrible customer service (complete with eye-rolling while taking my order)? Or could it had been the "atmosphere" with the filthy tables and giant painting of a cow in the kitchen? No, I know - it was the DRY burger that I ate.
Seriously - this is a big city, folks. There are many, MANY better places to eat.
Urban legend?? That's the only thing I can think of as to why this place has such high reviews.
