Delicious, classy, excellent service.
I love Marlai. The food is always fresh and piping hot and the servers are not only attentive but extremely warm and friendly. I have never had a bad experience there. For dessert, the fried ice cream is spectacular.
You won't be disappointed--I recommend it if you have not yet been to Marlai!

great thai food!!.
marlai is a nice classy thai place, unlike most of the seedy places you can find in the university district. the food is always amazing, and i have always found the service to be great! even without reservations they have always found room for my guests and i with very minimal wait. and for groups there are elegant dining rooms that are towards the back of the restaurant that require guests to take off their shoes (as there are bamboo mats on the ground) overall, i love marlai thai!!

Average Thai.
My boyfriend and I love Thai food and have tried Marlai Thai three times since it is so close to his home. Unfortunately the convienent location doesn't make up for the bad service and tasteless food. All three times I dined there I felt unwelcome and shoved in a corner in an overly furnished dining room. While the food wasnt greasy or heavy feeling like it can be at other resturants, but the food had no taste! It wasn't the worst dining expierience but I don't intend on going to Marlai Thai again. But to each his own.

Neighborhood Favorite.
This is a neighborhood favorite for my family. Contrary to the Citysearch summary it is great for kids. The food is consistent, the service is good.

Soooo Good.
Have had lunch here with friends working at the UDub. Marlai Thai is usually crowded at lunch. The lunch specials always include a couple of seafood entrees and beef, pork and chicken. Salad ingredients are the freshest - never limp. The entrees are delectable, piping hot and flavor packed. It's nice to dine on a white tablecloth with a fresh orchid spike. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. Probably one of the two best Thai restaurants in metro Seattle.

Thai food with class.
Marlai is the not only the best Thai food in town, but it is also the most elegant and classy. I have never had better service or food anywhere else. If you're looking for a romantic date go on Friday or Saturday evening when the pianist is there. Also, the wine selection is great. Order anything on the menu...everything is great!

Can't get enough Thai food.
This is my favorite thai restaurant for many reasons. First of all, I've never had a dish I didn't like at Marlai's. That's something I can't say for most restaurants!! The service is excellent especially if Max or Pom is waiting on you. Everyone is pleasant and very attentive. You usually don't have to ask for drink refills since the service is so good with Max or Pom. I'm suprised I haven't seen it on more top restaurant polls. Try it; I know you'll love it!!
