Worst Manicure Of My Entire Life – There were no customers in the place when I walked in--which should have tipped me off. I was barely greeted, instructed to sit at a table, and an old lady got to work. She started sawing at my fingernails as if she were cutting down a tree. Painful, back and forth strokes, the process was miserable and silent--the woman spoke 0 words to me. After what felt like forever the younger woman came out and sawed at my nails for a while and finally asked what color I wanted. I looked down and saw that three of my fingers were bleeding. I said, "I don't think I feel comfortable continuing...you hurt my nails." No apologies from this manicurist, she looked annoyed and said, "It'll stop soon." My pinkie and both ring fingers were bleeding painfully around my snipped cuticles. "I don't think it's safe to put polish on top of bleeding," I offered, "Um, how much do I owe you for what you've done so far?" The woman seemed a little surprised that I was turning down polish in favor of my hygiene. "$2," she said, and while I searched my purse for change the two woman started rambling in their language again. "All I have is $1.75," I offered, growing more uncomfortable. The woman got up and shouted, "Excuse me! $1.75! No good! You must pay! Give me credit card." I was startled and said, "Well, ok, but I didn't think you would want to run such a small charge on a card." She snatched my change, pulled the card out of my hand, and angrily ran it through the machine. She charged me $6.75. "I thought it was $2," I said, nervously, hoping she would at least give me back my change "SIGN," The woman tossed a pen at me. I wanted to get out of the situation so I didn't press it: I signed, I walked out, it ruined my day. Stay as far away from this place as you can and TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS.
