Very Bad Mechanic. Rob Carnie is posiblely the worst mechanic in the Seattle area. He operates without a businss licence out of a wearhouse in the middle of a residential nieghborhood. He performed an engine and trany swap for me two years ago and I have regretted ever having heard of the Benz Firendz since then. The car broke down on me on the way home from the shop and has broken down a total of 15 times in the last year. Each time the direct cause of the breakdown was specifically related to the poor quality work performed by the Benz Friendz I brought the car to him at least four times after he serviced it and they were unable to resolve all the problems I was having. I decided to take Rob to court last September and I was awarded 3K in damages. Since then Rob has refused to pay me. Through this process I discovered he has no business licence or account to pay his employees through. He simply works on a cash basis which means he likely is evading taxes. Don't make the same mistake I did. This guy is to be avioded at all costs!!!!
