Great customer service, all beautiful women!!. I don't know what bar the negative reviewers went to but it was not my Nickerson Saloon. The service is great, all very friendly and professional. The "Beer of the Month" offers the customer a new beer experience as advertised. The patio is a welcome relief in the summer months and the food is always good. I bring all of my out of town friends to the Nickerson and have had no complaints. And they are open during the Fremont Bridge work, whoever wrote otherwise was wrong about that and a great many other things.

At least you got the name right. Just a quick note The Saloon is not closed durring Fremont construction. It remains open seven days a week as it has been for the last 11 years. I'll let others rate & rank our service, food, etc. Just wanted to set the record straight. The Saloon is, was & will continue to be open construction or not. Oh and by the way our upstairs tenant is also still here, but thanks for the concern.

I Love This Place!. I recently relocated to Seattle & found the Saloon. It's now my favorite hangout. The food is great, big portions of really good home cooking. The thing that really sold me though is the staff. After a few visits they not only knew me by name but remembered what my drink of choice was. Every time I show up I'm greeted like one of the crew, if you haven't been in here you should try it.

Good Beer, Good Food...but wait.... I stop here about 2 to 3 times a week. I've had the burgers, the salmon, the meatloaf, and pot roast...I love em' all...but I had the wings last week and they were shameful. That being said, I haven't found decent wings in Seattle. Fried so hard you could knock out a small mamal with a drumstick. The "hot" sauce so mild I would use it for baby formula...for a baby with a sensative tummy. Everything else is good. I think the service is fine. The place does smell funny though...

awsome saloon burger!. Good beer and a great burger! Also a nice place to sit out on the patio during the summer to meet friends and watch the pontoon planes fly overhead.

It's good for ya. Good value for happy hour. Weekends always have a good selection of music at night, tho don't ask the bartenders for requests...A lot of the servers and some of the bartenders have an uncanny knack of remembering your drink and even your name after a couple of visits. That patio rocks in the summer. It's like being at a backyard BBQ except they keep bringing you drinks. And the servers are all good-looking women.

A Great Deal in A Good Place. I would agree with some of the comments left here, The Nick can be less than perfect when it comes to service sometimes, but I have never had anyone bee rude to me. I do think the food is better than a lot of the other neighborhood places i.e. the Red Door or Triangle. The thing that makes me come back is it's a great deal. For what you pay you get quite a bit. Big portionsof good food & well poured drinks. Thats what I look for in my neighborhood restaurant.

Horrible & Rude Service. Very bad service - we were seated and then ignored by the wait staff. Determined to have what we came for, I ordered drinks & food at the bar from a very unpleasant barkeep. It was our first visit & it's our guess we may have been mistaken for another couple who perhaps created a problem at one time, but even so, we will not return based on the unprofessionalism of all. Additionally, outdoor area is very noisy & smelly due to high-volume traffic intersection, prices seem high.

Not bad, not great. Non-smoking bars are very refreshing, which adds a lot to TNSS. The outside patio is great on sunny days, and the drinks are poured well and affordable. The food is bar food. Some things are good, others are mediocre, some is just not good. Roll the dice and remember what you liked from the last time. I go here with a large group and it's fun. Ample TVs for watching the game. The staff is always friendly.

Fab food and non-smoking too!. This is a great neighborhood spot that I've been going to for years. The bartenders are friendly and they remember your order. There's plenty of room and the fact that it's non-smoking makes me wonder how I ever tolerated those other smoky bars. Great bar food including an amazing sirloin salad (enough for 2) and terrific burgers!
