What Our Expert Scouts Say

Jamjuree

Flavorful Thai food at a price point that straddles between affordable and worth the extra buck. Try the pad Thai that is served with an egg omelet on top, the ginger beef and the red curry.

The service is a bit wonky but Jamjuree is by far the best thai place in Capitol Hill!! You must try the turmeric fried rice.

Jamjuree. a friendly restaurant, but slow in service. I have to say though they have the best Thai food in town. I can't go anywhere else after having their Thai food.

Fresh and tasty!. Like, insanely fresh. They have 4 stars - 2 is about what 3 is at most 1 - 5 star Thai places. Prompt service and good prices as well. Just focus on good parking karma and you will be fine.

Above average!. This dining experience was above average. I started with an order of spring rolls. Great presentation ? the rolls were cut diagonally and stood up on their end in a row. I also ordered the ?lime soda?. The waitress described it as being kind of like lemonade, only with lime and soda water. It was EXCELLENT. However, at $2.95 a glass I doubt I?ll order it every time. I then had the main course, pad thai with beef ? 2 stars. I?ve only seen the presentation they used once before ? they fry an egg onto the pad thai and the dish is served almost hidden by the egg. Very interesting. The pad thai itself was very saucy and flavorful. Their star system seems pretty accurate ? no big surprises. Ordering pad thai with beef is risky - I will probably order the dish with chicken if I come here again. At $18.50 before tip, this was not a cheap thai dinner but it was worth the money. I recommend this place as a break from your usual haunts. Very good atmosphere, friendly staff, welcoming environment.

Good Thai Food Experience. Ate here the other night for the first time. Very good Thai food, good extensive menu, great service, good atmosphere. Nothing too out of the ordinary, just a good Thai food experience.

Go NOW!. It's amazing. Lunch specials every day of the week (and weekends, which I love). $8 for pad thai and your choice of curry's. I'm a red curry fan and their sauce is f*cking AMAZING. I mean, it's really really really good. It's a lot of food so you take some home with you. But seriously, do yourself a favor and go now!

Flavors are overpowering.. This is a cute and trendy place with not the typical Thai decorations of the King hanging on the wall. Or maybe I was blind to it the night we went. The prices are reasonable. We ordered the Phad Thai (really sweet that night), Jamjuree Fried Rice (best dish we ordered but it was just okay), Masaman curry (really sweet). Overall, it was a cute place but the flavor was very overpowering. It's our friends favorite Thai place so we'll probably revisit and give it another chance. Parking can be a bit challenging.

Yummy green curry.. My boyfriend and I checked out Jamjuree a while ago and I've been meaning to go back for some time. He had a lunch special of pad thai and yellow curry; I had the green curry. The green curry was particularly good. I've been craving that green curry for weeks. Go eat it now.

I don't like food.. Food was too sweet and not spicy enough. I expected authentic Thai like I used to eat in Thailand, but they don't serve that kind of food. Also the woman there asked my name again and again for a seat, and then they called us with very wrong name though I spelled out for her. Also she was so frastrated with us because we didn't answer to the wrong name. But still most of staff there were very nice. But I didn't like their Thai food.

Favorite Thai in Seattle!. This thai restaurant is YUMMY! I love their pad thai, panang, red curry and bathing rama. I eat there at least once a week and still LOVE it! Try the lunch combo - a great value. Two meals in one..
