Step into the animal-safe world of Cafe Flora, complete with a thriving indoor jungle in a restaurant sanctuary extension. Beyond the vegetarian cuisine concept, the food is creative and delicious, the staff is very accommodating the the cocktails are deceptively dangerous.
You won't miss the meat. Really enjoyed the soup, salad, and entree--though the mased potatoes were a bit bland. But the vegan chocolate tart was out of this world. Service was quite good as well. Highly recommend!
Yummy. This is a great vegetarian resturaunt offering both vegan and vegetarian items. I personally like the vegan version of the french dip, and always order an extra one to go. There are two different places you can choose to sit. One of them is in a warm carpeted inside area, and the other is in a garden atrium that is a little more airy and summery. Service and food is really good. This resturaunt does some events to raise money for various causes. Good resturaunt, good service, good food, and good people.
French Toast!. The coconut/almond crusted french toast is the best around by far. It's been a while since I've had brunch at Cafe Flora, it may not even be on the menu any more. They soak their thick bread in coconut milk and then dip it in coconut and almonds. You pretty much don't need to eat for the rest of the day! Ask for a seat in the atrium, the plants and sun are a great atmosphere for a quaint brunch.
