Found ItYou Have to Shop Here!. I read older reviews for this Antiques/Vintage clothing/collectibles shop, and I have to tell you that I am so glad I ignored them and went there anyway! I LOVED all of the vintage jewelry, the eclectic collection of dishes, furniture, lighting and knick knacks. AMAZING romantic evening gowns that could have been in "The Artist." I thought the young woman (didn't catch her name) who helped me was terrific. She told me about some seasonal sales, so I will be back! I left with a fabulous 50's skirt and a pair of mother-of-pearl cufflinks; I know I couldn't have found them anywhere else. Five stars from me!
NEW CLERKS ARE GREAAAAT!.
Good things I found: The young girl behind the counter was amazingly helpful and kind to me! There was an unmarked item and she quickly got ahold of the owner to find out how much it was going for. She was very professional, attentive, and helpful. Also there are a lot of authentic Aztec/Mayan/Indian/Native American articles if you look around. I got a great pair of earrings at a decent price for the piece..
Not so good things: There is a LOT in the store to which it almost felt too tight to walk around it.. Improvements: More space.
Horribel service - if you can call it that.. I have never been so rudely treated in my life. The owner could not be bothered to help me in my first time in the store, made a rude comment about me to the person she was talking to on her cell phone and the called me an idiot when I asked for help. Unbelievable that someone could own a business and treat customers like that. Will never ever be back.
terrible service, rude owner. Terrible service. Rude. I went up to ask if I could try things on and the lady barely looked up to say yes. I found a nice vintage dress but the entire skirt was ripping apart at every seam also had multiple holes, so I said I would pay a lower price (*which, mind you, was not much less than the asked price) because of the condition. All she did was take it from me without looking at me and said "I think I'll just take it and fix it" and then continued her conversation with a man that seemed to also work there. So rude! Not only would she not bargain or even speak to me, but her answer caught me by such surprise that I just left. I have never been treated so cheaply before in a shop.
Poor Customer Service. over priced cool stuff. the woman behind the desk didn't greet me or even look up when i walked in. i was going to buy somethings but when i walked past her again and said hi she didn't even look up at me and gave me a very your annoying hello. there is no way i'm going to spend my money at a place where customer service is of no concern. i will never go back.
