Bagelove – These are fabulous bagels, lots and lots of flavors such as asiago, sesame, cinnamon, plain, and my favorite gourmet with cheese, jalapeno peppers and olives. They have many flavors of cream cheese, and low-fat versions too. And they make delicious sandwiches, like the breakfast bagel with cheese and egg. The service is prompt and once you go three or four times, the waitperson will remember your favorite order. These are the best bagels in Seattle.
It's all in the water... – Zatz makes a good bagel...better than Safeway or Albertsons...even better than Panera. The service is good but not so friendly! After having a bagel on the East Coast, I can tell you that they make the best bagel they can. It's the water that makes a bagel good or bad...that's what the experts in NYC told me...and I have to agree.
Huge Variety – I know bagels can be boring sometimes but Zats has so many different types that I never get the same thing twice. Their sandwiches are awesome but I have to say I am kinda stuck on the bagel dog. It is awesome. Great staff and fast service too.
Delicious! – I love Zatz because they make one of the best toasted bagel with cream cheese I have ever tasted. The bagel is toasted to perfection and the (large) variety of cream cheeses are light and fluffy. The bagel sandwiches there are also very good. I don't like it because there isn't a spot to sit in the place where the cold air during a winter morning can't reach you. But overall, I love this place!
Bread with a hole in it – Another disappointing Seattle bagel. Just bread with a hole. The search for a "real" bagel continues...
I Love Mamma & Pappa Zatz – Remember when there were Bagel shops on every corner? Ever wonder why they disappeared? Well, having a Zatz bagel will tell you why they are here and all those other shops aren't!
You'll love the bagels, and they have some specialties that are worth a try for you diehard purists, like Pesto & Asiago cheese. Oh, and they do Challah on Fridays.
'Nuff said. Just GO there.
