Worst Service. Our server was absolutely horrid. She was rude, seemed to ignore us, and seemed too busy making out with her boyfriend to pay any attention to our tables. I can't believe the management was allowing her to behave that way while she was working. So unprofessional. We had a decent sized group too, about 15 of us at 4 tables. I will definitely not be back.

I should have waited the 30 minutes for Cactus.. I didn't have high expectations to begin with but the place was packed and it looked like it served decent bar fare. We each ordered off the three course special which included salad, appetizer, and entree. We got our drinks quickly but that was about it. It was busy so I am understanding, but when the salad came, I knew why it was the special. They were basically off-loading their nearly spoiled stock.

The next course was a coconut prawn in a sweet and sour sauce. I could tell that they made their own sauce because no food processing company would dare to market it. Either that or they got the dilution ratio wrong. It triggered a kind of nasal gag reflex.

The steak was ok, but all of the vegetables were obiously frozen and they also used instant mashed potatoes.

When it was time to pay it took them 40 minutes to finally get someone's attention and have them sort out the tab. It was the only time I nearly just walked out without paying because I knew it would have been really easy and the staff could not have cared less.

Hi Zach. We are sorry to hear you had a bad experience at the Bamboo. We actually have upgraded to a top notch Chef named Chris Beh. Chris brings much talent to the Bamboo as well as top notch kitchen management skills. We have been getting some great reviews recently (especially with our Friday Fish Night) and we would like you to give us a shot again soon. We have also done some serious improvements to our wait staff as well. Thanks again for coming down. If you have any questions or concerns, please send me an email at generalmanager@bamboobarandgrill.com (long enough email address?:) )

Worst Service anywhere. This was some of the worst food and certainly the worst service i have had in years. I was there on a tuesday night the place wasn't busy. The wait staff completely ignored us after we got our first drink. The food tasted like the grill had never been cleaned and to make it worse. It took us 45 minutes to get our check and the another 30 minutes to get our credit card back so we could leave. I will never go back.

It's not a lie.... It's not a lie if it truly happened to someone else. I've had similar experiences, and haven't been back since! (I don't see why the star rating is so high if so many people were dissatisfied.)

I went here with a friend, almost 4 years ago, and, unfortunately, it seems that it's still as bad as it was back then. The food was mediocre at best, and the service lousy at best. I remember a disgusting-tastig coconut shrimp, and an absurd amount of time for us to even get the check. Yeah, the experience was so great, it was that memorable!

Long story short, the food is sub-par and the view is not all that great, so I don't know why this place is still in business.

THIS IS THE BEST RESTRAUNT IN SEATTLE AND ALKI BEACH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. OKAY LET ME JUST START BY SAYING THAT THIS PLACE IS SO AWSOME. THE STAFF AT BAMBOO ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND WILL DO ANYTHING WITHOUT QUALM. I DONT CARE WHAT THESE PEOPLE IN THE BOTTOM ARE SAYING ABOUT THEIR EXPERIENE, BUT THEY ARE ALL LYING. THE FOOD IS NOT SCARY, IT IS THE BEST FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD. I GO TO THE BAR , AND SARA THE MANAGER / BAR TENDER IS ALWAYS SO NICE TO ME. I HAVE ALWAYS HAD GOOD DRINKS AND FUN WHEN I GO HERE. SO DISREGAURD THE NASTY REVIEWS PEOPLE LEFT. GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. THANS !

Good Food and Good Service. Try this one. Very complete and creative menu with many delicious selections. Fast service. One of the very best restaurant choices we have made in the Alki area.

horrible customer service. I've been to Bamboo Bar and Grill on Alki three times and each time I've gone the service has been bad with the last visit truly horrible. It is obvious to me that the management there is counting on the view to do most of the work...and it is.

Nice place on Alki. I like this place. Good food, not too much money. Not the most stellar seafood restraunt around, but a good value, and a little different look and feel.
