Karaoke And Bar. Really liked the place but the waitress just ruined our night!!!! She had the time to sit with here friends and have a good time but no time to wait on our table and had to get our own drinks. When she finally noticed us after an hour, no smile no sorry just stared at us and went back to the bar like we didn't exist!!!! She actually bitched about no tips while chatting with bouncers outside! LOL, I wonder why? But I really enjoyed the karaoke despite her terrible attitude! The karaoke lady was really nice. They also have a second karaoke upstairs and a DJ.
Terrible Bar Experience. This place was awful. The karaoke sucked, the servers sucked, the bouncers were disrespectful. I'd recommend Hula Hula on 1st Ave. North instead. The drinks I had were mostly soda with a splash of liquor. Not worth your time. At Hula Hula they had excellent drinks at a good price.
Horrible Wait Staff.
I had an ok time at the bar, but I left my card open at the bar. When I came back the next day the waitress working there was incredibly rude. She refused to look upstairs for my card and told me to come back in 2 days when the waitress from Saturday night would be working. I was just trying to get her to check again, and she was soo nasty. I think that even if she did see my card she wouldn't have given it to me.
This is compared to a on the hill that searched all over for my boyfriend's phone when he lost it. UGH, there are better bars around seattle.
Great place to meet up with friends.. This is a nice bar to go to as its near the seattle center so can be good for pre or post events. Its large with an upstairs. There are pool tables, and often karoake or live music. They also have all the condiments available to add to pre made bloody marys so its almost like a bloody mary bar. Good service is a plus. Can be a little noisy and can get crowded, but much easier to find a table than some of the nearby places.
Terrible!. Staff was ok but the management was horrible. Manager was drunk and obnoxious. Never go there.
Ozzie's has THE WORST customer serice. My friend got kicked out of the bar for kissing another guy she had met. Well, the bouncer decided to kick me out too because according to him, "it is easier to kick out the group, " in his own words. Tave, who was our bartender, was being a fantastic bartender up until my friend was kicked out and then Tave completely did a 180. He humiliated me in front of other customers for being inebriated (which I wasn't), and said he refused to even discuss giving me an itemized bill. Tave said that I "clearly needed the money more than he did." I felt like I was in the twilight zone with all the disrespect and poor customer service. The bouncer, Mark, who kicked out my friend for kissing the man in the bar turned out to be the protagonist in the bar. He even paid for my drink that I didn't get to finish due to Tave's rudeness. I was really impressed with his chivalry, but very disappointed for Tave who got away with his rudeness. I didn't leave a tip, althought I wanted to tip Tave up until he pulled a Mr. Hyde on me.
staff needs to go to manner school.
Like many others have mentioned on this forum already, Ozzie's has the worst staff I have ever encountered!
My buddy and I walked in this evening (July 2, 2009). The doorman was rude to my buddy and argued with me about the authenticity of my 2008 Texas drivers license. When i offered to show him my other IDs he started hurling slurs at me. I'm not sure what his peeve was -- whether he didn't like my face or the fact that he was getting some sadistic pleasure turning away someone who had a Texas ID.
I asked to talk to his manager and he forcefully (he was 3 times bigger than me) moved me out and shouted out that this was a private place and it was up to him whom to allow in. Further he said that I should "return back to wherever I was from". I will never go back and will share this message across all kinds of social media with the hope that everyone else avoids this place as well.
Ozzie's The Best Karaoke.
I've been regularly going to Ozzie's on Friday nights for about 8 months now.
I've found Ozzie's DJ Deana and Waitress Nina to be awesome. Ozzie's Karaoke is a blast. The staff always take care of the customers in a timely manner even if the place is wall to wall people. The customers at Ozzie's support each other when they are up there singing. It's a really warm and friendly environment. The staff is always circulating to make sure customer's drinks are filled and their food is the way they like it. Their fries are great. The staff takes the time to remember your name, your drink and even asks you how your week has been. The song list is fairly extensive. The wait time even on a crowded night isn't bad at all. They have two Karaoke bars, pool tables etc.
I think it's just a great place and I encourage everyone to check them out.
Worst weekend night.
Problem is the staff treats you horribly (allowing you to order that last pitcher at 1:15, a half hour before the legal stop time on Seattleites drinking) at 1:17 they come by and yell "Get the F*!?% out!!" Confused, you may ask, "What?" Any one of their bouncers, however nice you may think they may be will get in your face and yell, "Get the F#$% out!!" Umm...okay. I thought this was a cool place...kareoke, pool, photo hunt...not so much but I may be persuaded to come back, not so sure why.
So you try to support their business on a Wednesday night...Kareoke might be a fun treat for your out-of-town guests...Ozzie's staff clearly has a different idea. If you sing along with any other singers, that girl (who brought her own cd to sing along with) may complain at which point, you will be asked to leave (you and your group of 12 business providing singer/friends) by the ever so kind, Ozzie's staff because you were singing louder than the girl with the mike. Since when did casual kareoke become American Idol? That's my question. Have you ever particpated in kareoke, sister? Yeah, people sing with you. What's the deal? I know...it's super offensive to have anyone else sing your tune but get over yourself; you sucked in the first place!
Case and point: Ozzie's: not a cool place to go if you enjoy fun of any sort. They also are many cue and eightballs (website said b@lls was inappropriate) down. My brother and I have tried to play pool a number of times but they always seem to be missing the full set. What's with that?
Moral of the story: stop going to Ozzie's. They are not nice and clearly do not like business. Why do we continue to go there? This question is a mystery to me. Let's stop the madness. Get new influences in Queen Anne. Ozzie's is not the place. Inappropriate and altogether rude and spineless staff...what's left to ponder. Quit Ozzie's, go to Floyd's, Peso's or, if you're hungry, grab some Dick's. We don't need any other dicks in the neighborhood.
Best Karakoe Party Spot. When my partner said he wanted to do karakoe for his birthday, I said ok, then scrambled to find a spot. Asking around, several people told me to check out Ozzie's. They were right! We had a great time. I called a couple days in advance to make arrangements for our party of 12. Ozzie's reserved tables in the upstairs karakoe room for us (they also do karakoe downstairs). We started our party early, around 8 PM. There were relatively few people then, so we got to dominate the microphone. Kevin set us up with every karakoe song we could think of. And Josie and Rhianna kept the drinks flowing. Cindy was amazingly helpful in reserving the tables and making sure we were taken care of. We will go back!
